Canadian Tire Gas+

I usually buy smokes here when in Hamilton. Usually have no problems, but today I go to buy 2 packs of smokes and the young male cashier with dark hair tries to charge me $77 and change knowing that I tap my credit card.When I asked why it was $77 the cashier asks me if I got gas. Great way for a minimum wage cashier to pocket extra cash.

I find that all the staff are very kind and friendly.One staff member asked me what i was doing on this beautiful day today . I told him i was taking the kids to the beach . After i purchased a case of water he told me he would see if he had a cold case of water in the back. And he didi and gave me that case instead. Its small things like that is why i make it a point to go to that gas station.

Refused to sell me cigarettes even though I had a valid out of province Id and drivers license. I'm almost 30 years old. Manager was rude.

Stepped in to by lottery tickets and smokes. Waited in line came up top the counter. Women asked me to step aside to the Male cashier as he was doing lottery. She served 4 customers ahead of me. Another person behind me wanted to conduct lottery transaction. She told him to wait. He was pushy so she went ahead and did his transaction. the Male cashier served me and I told him that it didn't make Any sense that I waited patiently and the pushy customers got served first. Instead of accepting, understanding or apologizing, he immediately told me that's because the other person was first. The female cashier corrected him and still no apology. I fill up 2 times a week there. I will not come back and would rather go out of my way to another gasstation.

Staff behind counter dont wear their masks properly most of the time, staff r rude when u aquire about it

I think this is one of the more favorable shopping experiences in Center Mall, as well as being one of the biggest Canadian Tires in Canada!

Dropped in to use the washroom after driving all the way from Barrie I would have gladly purchased something if that was their policy, was told the washroom was closed and the key was locked in the office. I was going to ask her what she done when she had to use the facilities but decided to keep my mouth shut. I understand that most places are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but if your going to provide a service, washrooms are a part of that service. Hamilton is the only city I have been in so far that does not allow the use of their washroom facilities. They don't mind taking your money be it by debt, credit or cash which there is person to person contact. Only difference is there is a barrier that separates you from the attendant. If they wear the proper protection while cleaning their washrooms there should not be an issue. If your open for business especially a SERVICE center then you should have the common courtesy to have washroom facilities available. Some people have health issues where the use of a washroom is highly essential, I am one of those people. End of story!!!!

Dear Manager. Please teach your employees some manners. So rude.
