Mumbai Local Restaurant
We recently visited Mumbai Local in Vancouver and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting.We especially enjoyed the spicy vada pav, shrimp rava fry and the finger licking chicken lollipops. The mutton kolhapuri was perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. The pics don’t do justice so do give it a try!!The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean and well-decorated, and the music was pleasant.Overall, we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great Indian meal in Vancouver.I hope this helps!

Mumbai Local Restaurant
Awesome Mumbai food, they have fulfilled my wish to eat Mumbai’s fast food. I tried vada-pav, misal-pav and Mumbai style toasted sandwiches, all of them were good. They have tried best to match the original taste and made it close enough. Must visit place, if you are from Mumbai or Pune and staying in Vancouver for long time.

I dined in at this place, was so excited about the name and looking at the ambience specifically chose this place to try chaat items but was disappointed badly! I chose the chaat sampler which costed $20.99 in order to try a bit of everything mentioned in the menu. The dahi Puri was the only one that was good in the plate, the Pani Puri was so bad and the bhel Puri did not have any onions or anything as mentioned in the menu it was just red sauce added to the Puri, which did not taste good at all. I've added a picture of the bhel Puri please check before you order it or the chaat sampler. Definitely not worth the cost or the effort in reaching this place to try out the chaat. I've had Pani Puri in other places in Vancouver and even other chaat items and will rate this place the worst of all.

Went for a late lunch here. Was hoping to get the kombdi vade which is a regional specialty of konkan maharashtra but was disappointed that they were out of those. Nevertheless the menu seemed very promising.Got the vada pav which was pretty great. Very close to the authentic version. Dahi puri was amazing but the prawns rava fry was underwhelming. Service seemed slow due to understaffing but waitress was very courteous . Good experience overall

If you love Indian cuisine and can appreciate authenticity, then Mumbai is a must-try. My partner and I discovered it by accident, but we now make trips to the city just to get a chicken handi! Love this place, the food, the music, the vibe, and service. Favourite find in Vancouver so far.

If you love to explore the Mumbai Street food then this is it. From the likes of Pav Bhaji, Masala Pav to the meat lovers in the form of chicken/mutton Sukka, you got to try everything here. Loved their food and ambiance.

Disappointing service and underwhelming foodHalf burnt Samosas could fit in a spoonOne bit vada pavs (not a compliment, vada pavs is not supposed to be one biters)Same price Thali in surrounding residents could feed 2.I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, from other reviews. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling extremely disappointed. Despite having traveled to 12 countries across 5 continents, I have rarely encountered such poor service.On a Saturday evening, my party of four arrived at 7 pm and ordered Thali, which we often order to get authentic experience and we love it in most of the restaurant and portions are big for this price, usually 1 Thali is enough for 2 people. However, we were informed by a different server that Thali is not allowed to share? Basically you are paying but they decide how you should eat your food!?, and we were left with no choice but to change our order to two curries, naan, and rice, to which the new server replied you can't cancel the order as it's under preparation"

Authentic Indian food! My friend and I ordered chilli chicken and other delicious dishes! The vibe is amazing too. Highly recommend. The portion is a bit small tho.

Amazing and authentic food. Mutton sukha was over the top. What a back in memory lane with the masala papad with beers ! Loved it!!
