Dr. Daniel Tam Dentistry

Dr. Tam has been my dentist for 2 years. I find him professional, pleasant and knowledgeable on new dental procedures and practice. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

After falling and doing a lot of damage to my teeth and then having no dentist to call, this dentist office was extremely helpful in getting me in as soon as possible! The receptionists were absolutely lovely and answered any questions I asked before my appointment. I am someone who has a lot of anxiety regarding going to the dentist. (My reasoning for not having one). Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted with friendly faces and was quickly registered in. There’s was no wait time and I got in to see Dr. Tam right away. Him and his assistant were both so friendly and helped ease my anxiety right off the bat. They did so much for me and even stayed after hours to finish up so that I could go home without any tooth pain. Dr. Tam is amazing at what he does and worked an absolute miracle on my teeth! I am happy to say that I have found a dentist that I am not scared to go back to! I will be a life long client for sure!!

Dr. Tam is an amazing dentist! He is professional and personable. He makes sure your comfortable and happy with his work. Go see Dr. Tam, you will never want to see another Dentist.

Visited the clinic 5 year ago for replacing a crown, good quality without any problem. And keep doing the hygiene every 3-5 month, that’s more often than before but my teeth getting better, no problem for recent 5 years. Actually, saved some money for dental in general. Thanks.

As an international student, I was nervous about going to the dentist. Dr. Tam and the staff were great, they were welcoming and assuring. They explained what was going to happen and made sure I understood the procedure. They make sure you're comfortable and they do an excellent job. Everyone was friendly and would totally recommend them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dr tam is an amazing dentist. He's completed very good work on my teeth. He is very charming and so respectful with the issues I have had. Very willing to assist when issues occur. I highly recommend him to keep your teeth in premium condition. He has very talented experience and always knows exact issues that are present and issues that will come in the near future. I highly trust his work. I you want perfectly healthy teeth he is your doctor that will support you and provide the best experience and keep you as healthy as possible. His staff are very professionl as well. You could not ask for a better experience with one of the most talented and trusted dental practice in the city of Halifax. He is the best!

I called the office and the first thing the receptionist told me was that I’ve to get my cleaning done before I can see Dr. Tam.I advised the receptionist that I have got my cleaning done recently at other clinic but she told me that then also I’ve to get it done again.I don’t understand what type of rule it is. This is totally unacceptable.If I’m having dental pain, then I should get my cleaning done first according to her even if the Dr. has not seen me. If the Dr. does a checkup and advice cleaning, that’s a different story if it’s NEEDED.I believe that cleaning is done every 3- 6 months. Who goes for cleaning twice a month or within days?If I’d the option to give 0 star, I would def go with that.

My experience with Dr. Tam has been life changing. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and sincere. His staff if friendly and do a great job. I recommend Dr. Tam for all your oral health care.

Dr. Tam, or Dan as he prefers, is running an all around 5-star practice. Chao, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was as deliberate and thorough as I can ever recall. Their next available appointment for a new patient was 2 months out, but Dan overheard me asking to get on the cancellation list and offered to take care of my miserable teeth later that day. I unfortunately didn't catch the assisting hygienist's name, but both she and Dan, stayed past 5pm re-filling holes in my molars with a custom composite material that appears and functions like a fully restored chomper.They give an additional 10% student discount on top of dental insurance. My insurance isn't the best, being an international student at Dal, so I was preparing for the worst, but ended up with the best dental care I've ever had.Take care of your teeth--that might work for youBut what's a Canadian farm boy to do?--Call Dan Tam DDS!

Dr. Tam is one of the most friendly and professional dentists I have come across. He and his amazing team make you feel right at home, and make it their top priority to provide high quality dental cleaning and repair. They do a fantastic job at detailing the different issues and solutions when providing dental care. The office is very comfortable with the overhead TVs being one of my favourite features. Their clientele comprise of different demographics from all walks of life so you can rest assured knowing you’re in good hands. All in all, this is by far the #1 dental practice in Halifax!
