Virtual Health Clinic (Online Doctors, Virtual Walk-in Clinic & Medicine Prescriptions)

Very happy with this clinic! I had some concerns about my risk for thrombosis and the doctor listened to me and was very helpful in ordering the tests that help me assess my risk. I think it's so important nowadays that doctors help patients become better informed about their bodies and diagnostic tests make an incredible difference to this understanding. Dr. Dorar was very helpful and the staff was courteous and kind with me. I highly recommend this clinic!

I had a really good experience with this clinic. Doctor’s call was a bit late, a half-hour. It happens with my family doctor all the time. I. am used to it. I was visiting my father in Quebec and had sinusitis. Could not see his doctor on Easter Monday, as the office was closed. My own doctor’s office at home did not have any availability until two days after my return. Made a phone appointment with your clinic and got a same day appointment. The doctor listened to my concerns and asked questions. He explained what he was prescribing and faxed it to my closest pharmacy. I was concerned that the pharmacy would not fill an Ontario prescription, but the doctor said they would. I’m sorry for the patients who did not have a good experience. I got lucky, I guess. Thank you !!!

they called an hour and a half past the appointment time and then the receptionist refused to clarify any of my questions or patch me through to the doctor. Their website is full of false information. And the receptionist called me again after the initial conversation and then hung up on me when I asked why… just go to a walk in.

Absolutely awful experience, im in tears! Had an appointment at 330pm for my autistic daughter as she has an earache and is in pain. Figured this option would be quicker then waiting in the ER for 5 hours and less stressful for my daughter. Call went fine and Dr said she was going to call in a prescription to the pharmacy as their fax machine wasn't working. It's now almost 5 hours later and they still have not called my pharmacy. I've called and emailed them several times and have been told they are too backlogged to make the call! I guess another sleepless night with an autistic child and will need to go to the hospital in the morning! If you need something that day I don't recommend using these guys!!

I would highly recommend this company - I had a very good experience when I was very sick and no clinic would let me come in because I had COVID and a few days later I was sure I had strep throat too. I called an hour before they closed on a Sunday night, got an apptment and waited 45 mins for the call (same as my family dr!). The doctor even apologized for the delay - never had that before. She agreed after spending time asking questions and then sent me prescription to the pharmacy right away. I found the fee surprisingly reasonable. Would definitely use this company again.

This was a great walk in care option for me as there is no walk-in clinic where I live.They called very close to the time I was scheduled and diagnosed my problem, and were able to send the prescription I needed to my pharmacy. Highly recommend!

The call wasn't on the time scheduled - the doctor was late.I was asked to call my pharmacy, ask them to send a prescription to the doctor over fax and only then he can prescribe the refill.Was never asked to do it before but nonetheless I spent an hour with the pharmacy without luck and gave up. Much easier to go into walkin clinic and get the prescription

Absolutely the worst care I have ever received. The doctor or physician assistant (not sure as he did not clarify) was very rude. First problem. In. Health care the provider must clearly introduce their role - huge red flag. Secondly the provider did not listen to me but instead kept talking over me when I was explaining my symptoms and just said go to emerge. I am a registered nurse and I have ever met anyone so incompetent. Please use another service

My husband was sick with strep throat and needed antibiotics. I scheduled an appointment for 8:00pm and the doctor was there at EXACTLY 8:00pm. He talked to my husband via secured messaging and quickly went over the symptoms and prescribed him his antibiotics and faxed them to the pharmacy of choice. We drove there, waited 10 mins and his medication was ready. This service has saved us HOURS of waiting in the emergency room. I definitely recommend. I am absolutely pleased.

Needed a prescription renewal. I’ve had a bad experience with a different virtual clinic where I waited so long to be connected (literally 10+ hours with an appointment time) that I just gave up and went to a walk in, but decided to give Meira Care a shot without really holding out much hope. Booked my appointment at 5:30 p.m. for 6:15 p.m. the same day (honestly still very sceptical this point that this was actually going to happen). Received the call at 6:25 p.m. and the doctor said he would fax the prescription over to my pharmacy. My pharmacy called at 7:20 p.m to say my prescription was ready to be picked up. Extremely pleased with how easy, quick and efficient the whole process was!
