Awesome staff! Food was plentiful and the staff were so efficient, friendly and very accommodating! Definitely recommend!

We had Spanish tapas and it was delicious and super pretty. The platters were works of art. Had catering and bar service, the staff and bartender were very chill and helpful. Met with chef Dani prior to the event and she was accommodating with requests and made some thoughtful and wonderful suggestions that we hadn't considered.Same as a few others here, the communication with our coordinator took a bit of extra effort, but the company has sorted out it out for my event. And let me tell say, when it came down to it, Prairie delivered an off-the-hook meal and service. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Scam company, I bought a gift certificate for a private lesson with their chef, she quit and they literally stole the money. I emailed several times, and they won't give me back the money. I'd even settle for food, but they would need to reply for me to even get that.

Prairie did an awesome job for our wedding. We had so many compliments on the food. The staff they provided were absolutely top shelf. Bartenders and servers.We had a few issues leading up to the day with changes in management but in the end they did an amazing job. It was a very large event and they absolutely killed it. The catering manager came out to the venue the day prior just to make sure everything was going to be set up to our specifications.The chef Dani is beyond amazing! Best baked beans I have ever had !Thanks Prairie. We couldn't have done it without you!

Terrible business. Do not keep their word. Still waiting on a refund cheque from September 2022 for forgetting all of our salads when we were forced to use them for a corporate event at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. We chose the Italian menu, (mostly because all the other stations were meat) and made sure that they were aware that we had a number of guests with dietary restrictions, including celiac and vegan. The only options for these people were salads. On event day, they forgot" the salads

My 'go to' catering for my business meetings. I get nothing but positive feedback about the food from everyone at my meetings. We had a catered staff supper with the Greek menu. We had a variety of allergies and the staff was great about working around them. The food was brought on time and was still very hot in the aluminum pans. The food was awesome and there was plenty to go around. There was no skimping on anything. We would definitely use Prairie Catering again.

Let me preface this by saying the food was decent, 1 of the dishes we got was a little bland, but based on what we ordered everyone was able to find something they enjoyed.However as a whole we have had way too many issues with them to be able to give a rating higher than this. When ordering from them you should expect multiple days to pass before getting an answer to emails, and you should expect invoices to be incorrect and missing information like deposits which were paid.In addition to that, while in the middle of the event we had to reschedule pickup times for the trays since they could no longer pick them up at the scheduled time, and some of the food we ordered and paid for was missing. We requested that we get a refund for the missing food and it has been almost 6 weeks, with no refund. We can't even get a straight answer about when that refund would arrive so at this point I guess we write it off as a loss and this company as a scam.

Food was tasty and staff were friendly. Unfortunately they were highly disorganized and a source of a lot of stress leading up to my wedding. I had gotten married back in the fall and was disappointed with the service. Management changed many times and I found multiple errors on my invoice regarding rates and number of catering hours. They were over 20 minutes late for a meeting we planned at their main location. When I called to ask if they were still coming to meet me they told me they had mixed me up with another client and therefore got the meeting place and time wrong. Lastly some miscommunication had happened on how long food should be out which resulted in me having to play phone tag with parier catering the day before my wedding to discuss how I would like food put out. I would have liked to discuss the issue prior to one day before my wedding but Prairie Catering did not contact me about it directly until then. If it were not for the fact that I was locked into this catering company because of the venue I would have changed caterers. Again, food was delicious but I would have liked to have worked with a more organized company that valued my time more.
