Man what a place. The atmosphere alone of a small coffee house. It's cozy with many places to sit and read. Had a great flat white and some lovely ginger cookies. Seems like a great spot to relax and first dates will return.

Great spot to sit down and hang out with your friends - Had the fancy grilled cheese and the golden milk, and they were both delicious. Staff is very kind too and the decor is fun.

Always a great place to go have some delicious desserts and coffee/tea. Staff are really lovely and the atmosphere is very open and welcoming to all. A great local hub if you live in the downtown core and def. a destination spot.

Local hangout for simple and cheap drink and food…… this is an old house converted to cafe house hence interior spaces are connected small rooms but cozy and friendly. However, if you are looking for a large space, modern and chic place, this is definitely not it.Probably not another code house holds such a lay back ambiance ….. the walls are footed with collection of art works from local artists and furnitures are mix match a little bit of everything …..They host an array of different events , from open mic, life drawing, live bands to discussion groups….. there is always something happening at this place every day of the week.Drinks are cheap/ reasonably priced …… no table service but the bar is friendly and quick to serve.

Fantastic cafe with an eclectic collection of local art. The staff are very friendly, and dog friendly! They make good coffee and have a selection of very tasty baked goods.My dog gets pets and a treat from the staff whenever we go, he might like them more than I do.

Great coffee. Beer on tap is always niceThe room I was in needed the garbage changed and there were a lot of fruit flies.The ambience was great and I enjoyed all of the local art that was displayed and for sale.

Fell upon the Art House as I was waiting for another store near it open up. I was Pleasantly surprised by the quirky home. It felt instantly homey with the way the set up is with couches and tables. Not to mention, the awesome amount of Art by local artist posted everywhere (which you can also purchase).The espresso was really smooth & they had oat + almond milk as alternatives for us dairy intolerant people.Overall really enjoyed the vibe & my coffee, would definitely recommend.

Cute cafe! Went to catch up with some friends and really enjoyed my tome there. The coffee was okay, but the inside was well decorated and had a lot of great art pieces to look at (support ur local artists). But they also had great music playing and they do art sessions there! Haven't been to one, but it seemed really fun.Also they have a lot of great outdoors space.

While the food may be average, they make up for it by offering a wide range of vegan and gluten-free options. The space is adorned with scrappy, vintage furniture and showcases an extensive collection of art by talented local craftspeople. Whether you're looking to hang out, play board games, or tap into your artistic side with their available art supplies, Art House offers an incredible experience. It's definitely one of my favorite spots in the city.

Ive been going here for years, first to study and take advantage of the cheap lager and now just to catch up with friends or attend events. Art House is a unique, artsy cafe with a delectable selection of coffees, cocktail and fresh baked goods. They run some fun events like drag shows, open mic, poetry night, etc. A community favourite, I’d highly recommend coming here atleast once!
