Woodstock Police

Its funny called the police twice now once because of attempted b and e , and nothing got done. When I told them it was my neighbor.Second called about a car sitting at mailbox at 3:20 every day leaves music blaring, well out of car . And get told is a bylaw problem. Maybe Chief Daryl Longworth should do something about things, in Woodstock. I know nothing will get done , it feels like I'm banging head on the wall.

Cant manage to keep kids from causing 5 weapons threats in 6 weeks between 2 schools and won't release information for threats causing mass hysteria and schools to threaten to reprimand students for talking about the issue and are way more interested in traffic tickets than anything else. Top kek.

Need more speed enforcment on Clarke street north. Everyone does 80 kmh through the 40 school zone all day and night. Concrete speed bumps at the crossing for the kids.

Took 14 MONTHS to investigate assault, did nothing about it because too much time had passed.Asked my son (after learning his heritage) if you're really an Indian (yes Indian is what he said) where is your head dress?".Had car broke into. Police said its not their job to investigate.Had home broke into. Called police multiple times. NEVER had an officer investigate. Screwed my home insurance.Always wondered how they are able to issue tickets when most are clearly illiterate and uneducated.Photo from day they had breakfast at a restaurant then claimed were there "on a call". Way to set a good example!"

We found about a hundred needles and drug paraphernalia behind the building I work in in Woodstock.We called the Woodstock police and they WOULD NOT HELP AT ALL.THEY WOULDN'T EVEN SEND US SIMPLE CRUISER OVER TO HAVE A LOOK. THEY EXPECTED US TO CLEAN THEM UP. JUST A LITTLE BIT DANGEROUS EH?GEE THANKS FOR PROTECTING THE COMMUNITY WE KNOW YOU'RE REALLY BUSY WITH ALL THE CRAZY CRIMES IN THIS HUGE METROPOLIS OF WOODSTOCK.I bet they give a $hit if some kid found them and died.Funny thing is we talk to the sergeant of the department and he said he doesn't have the staff to do it. Bull$hit...Yet behind our building there they were two cops hanging out in the parking lot chatting for about an hour....Thanks for helping us in the community and doing nothing.

The other reviews are typical human behaviour, it wasn't their way so they get upset. There are many factors involving decision making, Police do a great job dealing with the people they do on a daily basis, good on them for putting up with this type of junk.

You make me wait outside for over an hour mean while you lobby is empty while you interrogate my son with his mother ? Your a Terrible precinct to do that. I thought dad's were parents too

I just want to leave a positive review and thank this police department. My partner and I live in the US, and were travelling through Woodstock a couple of weeks ago on our way home from Utah (we live in the US, but northeast of here, so coming through Canada is the quickest route). We were tired and spent the night at a hotel there. Somebody broke into her car overnight and stole her mountain bike. She was devastated, because A) it's a nice bike, and B) has sentimental value to her.We filed the police report, but figured it would never turn up. According to one survey out of Montreal, only 2.4% of stolen bikes are recovered. Yet, the following night - we're at home now, lying in bed - the phone rings. It was the Woodstock Police Department informing us that her bike had been recovered. She was able to drive back since we live somewhat close and retrieve it a couple of days ago.We are very grateful. We're not even tax payers - we don't live in Canada, yet, they did this for us anyway. And through it all, they were polite as could be. So this is my first-ever review of a police department. Thank you for what you did for us. We really, really appreciate you.
