If you love craft beer then this place is not to be missed. A great selection of craft beers brewed right on Manitoulin Island. Lovely atmosphere with a great patio located walking distance from the Gore Bay Beach. There's also a chocolate shop in the same building, that you can check out as well. They do offer some food options on the weekends and some weekdays, but make sure you check their Facebook page or website for details. Would love to see and expanded menu, but the soft pretzels that we had the day we visited were delicious.

Been here a couple times, and can’t believe I have not rated it yet. Well here it is: great beers at a great brewery. The location is also superb. What is better than having a few samples of some fine craft brews overlooking the lake and the marina. Had a couple of conversations with Jason, great knowledgeable person. Thanks Jason and Split Rail. You will see me regularly!

The place is beautiful and well cared for. The Staff are friendly and buildings aesthetics are on point. Patio is built with a rustic appearance and give a very comforting vibe as you sip your bear watching the Boats sail by or are moved to/from the nearby marina. The Beer! I've Never had a better Amber Lager with its caramelly and nutty flavours, the taste of said beer in cans does not loose its delicious flavour compared to the Tap and if you aren't able to have a fridge nearby don't worry this stuff taste seriously good at any temp.

Jason is the man! What an experience. Jason and staff were extremely welcoming/friendly. Jason explained the beer products thoroughly one by one and sparked a conversation with us. Looking forward to going back!!

I'll start off by saying that I'm not a big beer drinker, but the flight I tried had (3) 4 oz beer for $8 tip included, and the three that I tried were really good. Hawberry taste like a light beer with a slight fruity aftertaste, Gold pilsner was very smooth, the last one was a Copper ale which again was very smooth. I could drink any of these all night with no regrets. The outdoor patio had a nice feel to it with a view of the water

Beautiful little place near the water to enjoy a unique beer! Highly recommend getting a selection of beers to try them all out. NO food when we were there, but plenty of options within walking distance if needed.

Small menu but good and locally sourced. Large selection of craft beer and a few locally made craft non alcoholic beverages. The Hackberry draft is very refreshing.

Had a quick tour of the brewery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sliders and pretzels were great and went well with the samplers.

Wonderful place with delicious beer and cheap flights to try all they have to offer. Tons of parking, features a great outdoor deck space with a view of the bay and friendly and courteous service. Would recommend to anyone exploring the island looking for a nice spot to slake your thirst after a long day exploring! (Bear not included)

Great beer and very friendly staff/owner. The new outdoor deck is very nice and a great place to sit and enjoy a beverage. They have 4 types of beer and all are very good. A place worth stopping when in Gore Bay.Recently, I was disappointed that they would not fill up my growlers and wanted me to purchase their own logo ones. I already have 10 growlers and don't need more. I understand, but disagree with places that do this. Trade me my glass ones for your glass ones, or just fill them like most other breweries! I didn't end up buying any beer on this visit and haven't bought any since. It is good beer though.
