Valentines dinner was delicious, service was superb and live music created the most relaxing atmosphereWill definitely return to this beautiful historic hotel and dining room

My husband and I have wanted to stay here for a while. We really loved our visit here! We found the room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Being a Heritage House it has lots of character. There was live entertainment Thursday and Friday night. The best part was we were able to enjoy the music from our room as the band was playing underneath. So we were able to relax and play cards in the comfort of her own room while enjoying the music. The music was done by shortly after 10 p.m. both nights. The location is very convenient and the price is amazing. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends and enjoy Shediac for a weekend. We could even see a bit of the ocean from our room. And there's a patio upstairs that we were able to sit out and enjoy the nice weather. We also ate at the restaurant and found the service excellent. We would highly recommend making reservations. I found the staff literally went out of their way to make people comfortable. Literally saw an employee down on their hands and knees fixing a table for some other customers! We will definitely be back. It was the best place we visited while we were in Shediac. Hands down!

Beautiful rooms, fantastic service. The new owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We also dined in the restaurant and our meals and drinks were amazing. Everyone raved about the short ribs. The haddock was delicious too. Would highly recommend for your stay in the Shediac area. Thank you Brad and Julie!

This is now my 3rd time staying here in less than a month and can tell you this is the perfect little getaway from the city. Myself being from Toronto, I am very particular on certain things which most establishments miss here in New Brunswick. This is the only spot in NB that checks all the marks - The food, the atmosphere, the room with an amazing tub/bed, and most importantly the excellent service. The owner even took time to meet and greet us and follow up with our stay. I can not stress enough how much this place offers! Already planning to come back again. If you plan on getting dinner, I would suggest to get the short ribs, paired with the mussels for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed!

We had a lovely afternoon in the beer garden. The setting was perfect, with lots of shade. The service was excellent! We then decided to stay and have supper and what a treat that was! The food was delicious, and once again the service was excellent! A big shout out to Summer and Billy, you both absolutely made our experience fabulous! We'll definitely be back!!

Kitty was our server and she was an absolute joy. We appreciated her witty humour, great personality and wonderful service. The food was to match! Absolutely amazing. Best chicken Kiev I’ve ever had. For real. Go eat here.

Did not stay at the Tait house. We visited multiple times just to eat in the restaurant.

We had a excellent dinner and night stay at the Tait. The food and service were perfect. The hotel had issue prior to our arrival that could have derailed our plans, but were able to resolve the issue and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Thank you to the Management and Staff, we will be back.

Stayed here with my wife on June 29th, and we absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance, to the surprisingly comfy king bed, our stay couldn’t have been better.The restaurant downstairs was also the best food we had on our trip despite it costing a lot less than a few of our stops…Highly recommended this hotel/restaurant to anyone visiting Shediac.
