Hungry Bear Restaurant
The restaurant has some seating indoors and a few tables outside, the staff brings your food to your table once it’s ready. The club sandwich was delicious and good onion rings. The ice cream we had to order on the other side of the restaurant and it was creamy and so good.

Only Good if you have dogs that needs a breakVery overpricedChicken fingers.... I can buy better ones at CostcoClub sandwich was 6/10Tuna sandwich 1/10And paid 10$ for a Really bad ceaser salad(lots of dressing and fake bacon) the lettuce was goodI spent 50$ in all these items with no drinks

Hungry Bear Restaurant
Mrs Biggs and her daughter run the place. 61 years and still the same owners. Friendly staff and fair prices. Very clean and great for touring through. Handicap accessibility, air conditioning building, rv and trailer parking and lots of seating also have highchairs.Also the pictures speak for themselves. I really hope you enjoy your time at this little slice of heaven.

Ice cream was fine.French fries wear disgusting. Old, possibly from yesterday and beyond, refried how many times in grease that hasn't been charged since when?Not anywhere near the place it used to be

Always a highlight of our trip on our return from the cottage. We took our 8 year old grandson to Hungry Bear who said I am going to get Mom and Dad to bring our family here I really liked the food."It is definitely a place worth stopping to enjoy the food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is good.Decor and settling provide a wonderful oasis when there are long stretches where there are very few places to stop along the highway. Having the option of eating outside or inside in the dining area is great. Enables those with pets to be with their owners in the outdoor option.There needs more signage on the highway to promote Hungry Bear."

We were so relieved to have found this restaurant after driving for what felt like eternity. We ordered chicken fingers and fries and a burger and poutine and it was delish. My husband said his burger was clearly made from frozen patties but still really good. My fries were absolutely delish soft inside crunchy on the outside and the breading on my chicken fingers was crispy and seasoned well. It was also ready extremely fast. What I really needed was a bathroom and those were closed cause of covid so I was very sad about that.

Hungry Bear Restaurant
So much to see and the food is more then satisfactory with a large menu and priced well. A great place to stop and stretch your legs while travelling the trans Canada HWY. Love the tasty treats and native clothing and crafts. Seating both indoors and outside or on the patio. I Will definitely visit again.
