We've been going to Westoak Animal Hospital for years and have always left knowing our pets have received excellent care. The veterinarians and staff are friendly and compassionate. It is obvious they truly love animals. We highly recommend!

Nice people. But honestly to have a “locked door policy” Because of covid for your patients is ridiculous. This is un necessary. To leave people waiting out in the cold, to have your pet have examinations etc without you being allowed to comfort them and also ask the vet questions whilst there is very important.it’s feels very un welcoming. I won’t use them again as a vets for this reason alone.

Phenomenal service, all the employees are engaged in what they do. You can tell by entertaining with them that they do care.We'll keep going back here time and time again

This is an exceptional animal hospital. As a breeder, I require many spay/neuter surgeries every year and Dr. Kohlmaier's surgical skills are unsurpassed. He will dive into an unusual diagnosis with enthusiasm that is rarely seen, exploring options and clearly explaining the path ahead. Dr. Fisher's compassion and concern are genuine and heartfelt and the puppies respond to her unreservedly. I truly appreciate the practical approach of this practice and you will not be bombarded with unnecessary procedures that will draw on your heartstrings and empty your wallet. If they recommend a procedure you can be assured that it is needed. The staff, headed by competent and knowledgeable Sabrina, keep this practice running smoothly with appointments, record-keeping and getting answers to my unending list of questions. My only disappointment - over the years I have recommended many of my puppy people but lately some have been told that the practice is full and that is a loss for those puppies. Hope they stay healthy and safe during these stupid Covid times!

I have been a dog owner for much of my life and been a customer of a number of animal hospitals in Mississauga and Oakville. I wish I had been made aware of the team at Westoak sooner. They are friendly, professional and considerate and I cannot speak more highly of their services. Our dog lived to 15 years in no small part because of their care and when it was finally her time to go their compassion was greatly appreciated.

We've been here several times with foster dogs, and have found the vet and his staff to be pleasant, helpful, and have the dogs' best interest in mind.

I have nothing but great things to say about this veterinarian office. After a misdiagnosis from a emergency clinic and almost putting our family pet asleep. Dr Kohlmaier diagnosis-ed him differently and his diagnosis was not life ending. We enjoyed our pet for another four years. When the time came for us to do the right thing for him, Dr Kohlmaier was not supposed to perform the procedure but he changed his schedule so he was there for Bugsy.
