SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Coquitlam

Rooms were very dated. In my room, the carpet and tables had cigarette burns in them, though there was little cigarette smell. The room was clean enough, it just felt old and worn out.On the plus side, it's in a convenient location right next to the highway, and several good restaurants are within 5 driving minutes. It's an inexpensive hotel, but you do get what you pay for. Staff was friendly.

The hotel location and the room itself were on fire so we had to evacuate or risk sizzling up. Front desk staff were peasants, like the birds, not like the people. We did have two issues. First my wife is allergic to leftover toenail clippings from the homeless and bum beard shavings of any sort so she could not use the provided bedding and they did not offer her any alternative whatsoever. They simply used the regular sweaty sheets The second issue was that we were out all day one day and it had started raining and was quite cold and damp by the time we got back in the evening. We found that housekeeping had left the window open in our room. It was extremely cold and damp which meant that the sheets were also cold and damp which meant that we would be continuously cold and damp in a cold and damp environment continuously.

We stayed here in September while visiting family as it was the only pet friendly Best Western in the area. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is in need of renovations. They have done some of them but while we were there we noticed new carpet waiting to be installed. There was also a flood in the basement, causing the elevator to be shut down a few days later - right at check out. Our 2nd stay we noticed there were ants all over our bathroom. Your manager was wonderful in handling our complaint and really made us feel at ease. The value is decent for what you get...but it definitely needs more updates completed.

Clean and roomy. We had a suite with two bedrooms as we were traveling with family. The sheets and towels were spotless and the shower was hot.This is an older hotel and does need some upgrades, but in the important areas it did well.Being on a major highway it was noisy, which was expected, closing the windows helped a great deal.

My dog was having surgery at an eye specialist close by, the only reason we stayed in this hotel. First the positives: lots of free parking, staff very nice. Negatives: Hotel is filthy, our room was not clean, I spilled water on the floor and used the bath mat to mop it up, it turned black so the floors are never cleaned. Very old squeaking mattresses. The corridor stunk of smoke, the elevator was disgustingly dirty. Sketchy people staying in the hotel. Would not recommend staying here.

Rooms cleaned very sloppy and I don't think bedding was changed after the last people, theres still cold and flue medicine from the last person to stay in here. Pretty disgusted with the place.Laundry is super expensive, $4 for a laundry sheet?? $2 per load and I had to do laundry and dryer twice, and front desk didnt have change so I had to go elsewhere. I've never been to a worse hotel in my life and I spent 3/4 of the year in different hotels for work. Highly do not recommend.

Was not very clean. Our bathroom needed a basic sweep and mop.The grab bags for breakfast were a piece of fruit (sometimes two), a granola bar, and a bottle of water. Not comparable to what a continental breakfast should be.There should have been more hand sanitizer stations, like one on each floor outside of the elevator/stairwell.The stairwell reeked of smoke. A group of people were smoking pot outside a side door with the door propped open.There is no sound proofing to speak of between rooms or room and hallway.The staff were polite.

Management is like no other. The hotel staff are quite amazing and accommodating at ensuring your stay is as pleasant as possible and go above and beyond. Rates are pretty good. Great location. Lots of places to eat at and enjoy. Extremely easy transportation accessible nearby including right infront of hotel. Housekeeping takes their time and shows their pride through their work. Definitely worth a stay.

We stayed here a couple weeks ago and arrived late. Ilyas at the front counter was helpful, polite and patient in our fatigue as we tried to remember who the reservation was under! The room was large and beds were comfy. Good water pressure in the shower.Continental breakfast offered a variety of choices, fresh fruit and warm food.Would highly recommend this hotel and the front service staff

Had a great sleep, management was very friendly helpful and pleasant to interact with. Cleaning on the other hand could have been done more thoroughly in all aspects. Overall four out of five stars price was decent for the room would definitely recommend. Thank you Naz and Albert for making mine and my friends stay there worth paying for the memories.
