This post is long overdue, but after another amazing experience, I wanted to highlight Pesteh Bakery as a hidden gem in Ajax.I randomly came across Pesteh while searching for diabetic-friendly cakes for my parents. My mom makes amazing cakes herself, but has never been able to enjoy them since she's diabetic.Mary (the owner of Pesteh) uses diabetic-friendly sugar substitutes for her cakes and they are delicious! I highly recommend the sugar-free chocolate velvet and pistachio cakes. She makes regular cakes too, of course, but this is a great gift for the diabetics (or health-conscious loved ones) in your life!The prices of sugar-free cakes are a little higher than regular cakes, but I find them very reasonable especially considering the cost of the sugar substitutes and the health benefits. I look forward to the day where healthy ingredients cost less than unhealthy ingredients!I'd also like to add that Mary's customer service and cleanliness are top-notch! Highly recommend.

I had ordered a pistachio cake for my son’s birthday and a sugar-free chocolate cake for my birthday (wasn’t able to click a picture of the chocolate cake). Both cakes were amazing! Looking forward to our next celebration!! Thank you Mary!

I found pesteh bakery in google and so glad i did. Mary is so amazing at making what you ask and oh my god, the taste of her cakes are utterly delicious!!!!I had asked for a customized cakesmash cake with flavour Confetti cake with vanilla buttercream . It looked so pretty and was exactly what i asked for and it tasted delicious. I ordered one more cake with her signature pistachio cake and it was soooo good that i wil definitely order more.Thanks Mary for beautiful and delicious cakes.!!

The cake was amazing! Moist and just the perfect level of sweetness. The ordering process was easy, cake was baked fresh, ready on time and Mary was such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you again!

Super delicious cakes and very friendly. Prices are reasonable and ingredients are of high quality. You can tell they put a lot of care into their business. We love the pistachio and saffron orange blossom cakes, they are both our family favourites!

Purchased a 6” chocolate velvet cake. It was perfect! The decorations on top were exactly as advertised/described and the cake was delicious. Also, everyone LOVED that this cake didn’t have a thick layer of frosting on the outside like most cakes do. The owner, Mary, was extremely professional and polite. I ordered very last minute and she was still able to accommodate my order. The pricing is quite affordable as well. I will definitely be ordering my future cakes from Pesteh Bakery!

Mary is incredible!We ordered the chocolate velvet cake and it's light, airy, with the right amount of sweetness and just plain yum! My son loved every bit of it, from the way it looked to the garnish choc sticks to the actual cake itself.Thank you Mary! We look forward to ordering cakes for all occasions from you!

We contacted them last minute for a anniversary cake and luckily they had a chocolate cake available. It was a beautiful and delicious cake. I’m thrilled to find this business and will order from them again.

I am a tremendous cake lover. Naturally, I’m very choosy about it. My 15 years old daughter is exactly like me. I have tried different cake boutiques for my daughter’s birthday cake. None was able to meet up my expectation. This time I ordered from PESTEH. OMG! I’m so so happy! The cake was exactly what me and my daughter wanted! All the guests loved it! It was finished within half an hour. It was a soft, smooth buttercream Tiramisu cake. The cream was no sugary at all, Yet, perfectly sweet. The owner is a sweet lady! I will definitely order to her again. I am sure my guests will do the same! Keep up this amazing work PESTEH!

Choosing a cake & a good bakery for a special ocassion (anniversaries) is always tough. It's more tough when you're based out of the bakery's location. I am from India, and after much research, I came across Pesteh Bakery's site on google.I'm glad I got this reference. I ordered their signature cake, Pistachio Cake. And it was impeccable. The taste was just heavenly as described by my sister and brother-in-law for whom I had ordered.Thank you Pesteh Bakery.To all the people who have sweet-tooth, I suggest to try out their cakes. One of the best bakery, I would say.
