Holy Family Home

It's not assisted living. This is where you go if you just want to wait around, possibly suffering, for your death.My grandfather died on Friday and we discovered that he had an untreated broken arm. So, when he's screaming in pain while they try to dress him, it just gets ignored. Keep that in mind if you want to send your loved ones here.

My dad is truly blessed that he is in this most caring and clean facility. The staff from social worker, to nurses to aids and housekeeping are always available and very accommodating. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Holy Family.

This is an absolutely terrible place. If you truly care about someone, don't go through the agony and heartache my family did and avoid this place at all costs.

Some friends live here. It seems OK

Its pretty bad I live in Halifax Nova Scotia and my Dear mother Mrs.Ruth Lahn of winnipeg had passed away March 23?2018 and (fact) they did have my current telephone number but could/would not contact me to let me know that she had passed away I found out from my brother. and before you know it my brother was headed out there to see my mother and a morgue van was pulling up before he even got in the doors? and somebody already moving into her room.CONSTANT BRUISES) all over 24/7 and i mean 24/7 and always excuses as to why these were but no answers period.I went for a visit last mothers day from halifax and witnessed a two week bandage on her arm with a huge bruise and asked why this was two weeks old and all i ever got was a trained robot and they all (including head nurse) oh its nothing to worry about (PLEASE) run from having any relative here and by the way thanks for letting me know my mother had passed away (NOT IMPRESSED) AND NO IAM NOT JUST VENTING HERE this place could care less if your relatives are alive or dead end of story.I have to give at least a one star but trust this place is not worth even a half star.....

very toxic working environment. staff are super rude!!! sucks no zero star choice.

I liked this place

I visited someone here several times on my trips to Winnipeg - truly a depressing nursing home. It looked like a place where you send an old person to die. If you can't care for your loved one at your own house, or have them cared for by a caregiver in their own house, find another nursing home for them - there are many other options in Winnipeg.

the staff there are very kind, polite and welcoming. the place is clean and nice. the aura is inviting. 5/5.
