First time rock climbing last evening with Madison of L1 Adventures . Great experience ! Madison was an incredible guide and made this experience such a fun time . Although my wife and I were apprehensive about trying this it was totally exciting and fun and we felt very safe with Madison's instruction . Would highly recommend this as a great activity and adventure !

Coming in as outdoor climbing newbies Madison (L1 Adventures guide) created a core memory for my partner and I. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, wearing our fresh rented gear, we were given a speedy and comprehensive introduction to the sport. In no time we were trained and comfortable climbing the ocean cliffs, snapping stunning pics. I would strongly encourage this experience to anyone with a moderate fitness level and a love for rugged nature.

I’ve had two experiences with L1 Adventures and both have been exceptional.My first tour was a private booking with friends that brought us to beautiful Quidi Vidi. This was my first-ever outdoor rock climbing experience. Our guide, Madison, was extremely knowledgeable and made me safe every step of the way. I enjoyed the day so much that I attended an open climb a few weeks later in CBS. Madison was kind enough to take extra time to show us a swimming hole at the end of our climb. It was a lovely way to cool off and relax after a hot day of climbing.Overall, I was very impressed by Madison’s organization, professionalism, and passion for the sport. I appreciated the patience and encouragement he gave me as a new climber. I will certainly be returning for more fun this summer with L1 Adventures!

Had an amazing time as a first time climber with 0 experience. Madison did a a great job showing us the ropes (literally) while also adapting as we acclimated to the whole experience. 100% recommend!

Unreal experience. We had a group of 5 for a half day open climb. We were all beginner climbers but Madison made us all so comfortable with climbing outdoors and belaying people. We climbed the “cemetery face” and the view was unreal, especially when the sun started coming down - some really cool snaps. We’ll be back.. anyone that tries this will be hooked

Madison was a great, knowledgeable guide, and wonderful company! He took us out to 2 rock climbing crags during a full day guided rock climbing tour. Definitely a highlight of our trip, and an unreal way of seeing St. John's in a different way. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try rock climbing outdoors for the first time, or anyone looking for a unique outdoor adventure experience!

As a group of 4 with no previous rock climbing experience, Madison did a great job of showing us the proper technique while making sure we all had a great time and felt very safe! We all loved the experience and would highly recommend! :)

Madison provided an exceptional full day climbing experience. We were fortunate enough to go to two crags, both with beautiful views. He was kind enough to document our adventure with great photo ops as well. Highly recommend Madison and L1 Adventures to anyone wanting to climb in St. John's area.

This was my first outdoor climbing experience and I was a bit nervous and scared. Madison was very professional and showed us how all the equipment works and the safety features they all have and it made me feel safe. Not long after I started climbing my fears decreased, I trusted the equipment, and I had so much fun! We went to flatrock and the views were breathtaking. Madison set up multiple climbs with different difficulties so everyone had a good climb and could be challenged if they wanted! We did a half day climb with 4 people and it was perfect. I would highly recommend trying this out. I will definitely be booking again!

Safe, friendly, and professional. I had a blast going solo with Madison in what was my first time outdoors. He patiently explained the local crags and what they have to offer, and was even happy to take me slab climbing! Highly recommend - great fun for beginners or experienced climbers.
