Breka Bakery & Café ( Main st)

Visiting Vancouver with my family for the first time and we decided to stop here for breakfast. Best decision ever. Incredible selection- we got a box of various pastries, because we just couldn't pick! We never do that, but it was amazing. All of the desserts were delicious and shockingly cheap.We are from America, and if you're an American like us the prices will FLOOR you. We got cookies, coffee, a donut, croissant, and Danish pastry for 14 Canadian dollars. Highly recommend, especially to travelers!

It's a nice bakery with plenty of options to choose from. We tried tiramisu, strawberry pastry and they were ok. My daughter tried the strawberry donut and she liked it. They even have some oats cookie that one can relish at breakfast.

Delicious desserts. Very busy place. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Good and quick service. Highly recommended. Free parking on the parallel street.

Bought here today favourite bread, and here what I have inside.. I guess it is a part of gloves..Every time great taste.My husband adores pistachio donut.

Breka is Vancouver's most iconic bakery chain. Not only do they serve some of the best pastries you can find in the city, they're open late. Above that, their staff is absolutely lovely and the management seems to know their processes well, because it's always busy but the lines moves fast. If you're hosting visitors or, if you are visiting, definitely come here at any time of the day because they have everything you need to wake up in the morning, or items to help you sober up after a big night out.

The cakes are very fresh and of great quality here. Tried the red velvet cake and it was delicious with fresh berries on top as a garnish, the cake layers were moist and dense, and the frosting was creamy but not too sweet or fatty. Tasted very similar in texture to the tuxedo cakes and red velvet cakes at Costco but with fresh berries on top and no membership required.

My favorite Breka branch! Very spacious and with adequate number of seats. The staff are nice and accommodating. Pastry dishes and coffee selections are good as always!

Very popular spot. This review is going to be subjective. I tried this pistachio pot de creme and it was not for me. At first it tasted great with raspberry sauce, however, the nutty flavour became too strong. The chocolate ganache cake was way too sweet for us. A cup of coffee would nicely balance the sweetness tho. But their interior is amazing and surprisingly spacious inside to have enough chairs and tables.

We had to head out from Vancouver early in the morning so when we found out there was not only a 24/7 bakery cafe in Vancouver but several and they were all known to be delicious? It was such a fantastic way to end our trip on a high note. My friend took this photo and I love that you can tell it’s still relatively dark outside because we arrived before sunrise. To maintain such high quality at all hours of the day is pretty incredible.
