I always have a good experience with the staff both in person and over the phone. However, I have had multiple issues including being told my parts are ready for pickup, only to get to the warehouse to be told that they are still in the vehicle. My worst experience so far was my attempt to buy a window switch. I make sure to thoroughly describe the part I need. I needed a grey drivers front window switch. First time going to the warehouse, they give me a beige rear window switch. I reorder, and next time receive the proper one, only to discover when I get home that its broken in 2 different ways. The window switch is broken and gets stuck in the downward position, and the trim piece is broken. To give me a part thats obviously defective shows a complete lack of care and quality control. This resulted in me wasting 3 trips to the warehouse, and still without the part I need. Luckily the return process was easy, and they did not give me a hassle.While I do like how LKQ has such a wide selection of parts, its kind of a 50/50 shot on if youll get the right part, and if itll work properly. I have witnessed other people in line before me also receiving wrong or defective parts as well on numerous occasions, so this is not an uncommon thing. I am a dealer and these mistakes on their end cost me time and money. Until quality control and consistency improve I will be using LKQ as a last resort when other wreckers dont have what I need.Edit: Just found out a door I bought previously has a bad harness too. So now I have to pull the door off again and swap the harness from my old door.

Terrible experiences. Terrible customer service. Phone calls do not go through. Messages not returned. Emails were not answered. After several attempts finally order was taken. Ordered parts two months ago, was told that i would get it in 4 days. Followed up 4 weeks later after the due date and was told that parts arrived to Winnipeg but could not been delivered due to the weather and then some of the parts was sold to someone else. Reordered parts. Parts was delivered to the wrong place. Week later was delivered to the write place but some parts were still missing. Week later everything was delivered but the financial department did not charge the taxes therefore parts was suppose to go back to the shop. Sales rep David M was unreachable. Sent David email. David replied that he is busy. Sent email to his assistant Cole. Nothing happened then tried to call David again. I was automatically transferred to Cole T. Cole T in a very rude language said that the driver already left and the parts is going to delivered in the next business day i.e Tuesday after the long weekend. However before i was told by David M that the deliveries to that area are only made on Mondays and Fridays, meaning that i am not going to get parts for another week. Think twice before ordering anything. I had a great experience with LKQ competitors APT. Guys use APT instead.

Great place for used auto parts.Mostly you can find what you looking for.Price is very reasonable comparing to other used parts store.Two location in winnipeg one on day street and another one is at Saskatchewan Avenue.Also they have large inventory for new parts if you fix accident cars.You will get discounts depands on how much you spend in whole year.Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

If your need body parts for your vehicle this is the place to get them. I have a 98 GMC and had a hard time finding parts for it, but LKQ had them in stock and what they didn't they got ship from one of the other locations in no time. Friendly helpful people here. Highly recommended!

Purchased a 5.7 Hemi may 9/2023 through Craig Brentnall. I was told this engine was in good working order and only have 10k km. When I did some digging I found out the correct km is 120k which is illegal and a difference of 110k km. km Before I installed the engine I noticed 5 exhaust bolts were stuck flush to the head. Right after the engine was dropped into the vehicle of course the engine was not in good working order and was knocking and sounded exactly the same as the engine I just pulled out.I was told the engine was in good working order so I went ahead and invested $1800 in seals gaskets timing chain, belt etc since engine was already out. I bring this issue up with the manager Eric. And they suggest dropping another used engine and only covering $50 an hour for labor when the shop rate is $150. So I need to pay $100 an hour out of pocket. I am looking at another $2000 bill in labor to swap it out.Also they refused to replace all the seals,gaskets timing chain etc on the new engine replacement they wanted to swap it for.Eric was saying it was my fault I invested more money into those parts and therefore they would not cover it.Craig or Eric would not take accountability. I asked Eric, do they not test and inspect the engines before pulling them out? He said not all the time. So I find it bizarre why am I the one taking the loss on someone else’s mistake? I offered them a settlement of them just refunding me the $5500 I paid for the engine because I did not want to deal with the company anymore, at this point I am taking a loss of roughly $4000.At the end of the day the issue has not been resolved and my settlement offer is off the table and I will be taking this to court and seeking full amount I spent on all parts labor (roughly just under $9500 all in) All emails and conversations have been documented.Attached is a video of the sound of the engine right after being installed.This is also being reported to the better business bureau.

I own a 2003 Chevy Astro Van. Because of the age of my vehicle, it is difficult to find replacement parts. LKQ has a network of locations across Canada and USA. The staff found the rear doors I needed to restore my van. Great service! Reasonable prices! I strongly recommend this company!
