Shoppers Drug Mart

The pharmacy staff are rude and disrespectful at this location. I went in with simple questions regarding prescriptions and was made to feel stupid and irrelevant. The pharmacist was overall unhelpful and snickered with her coworker as I walked away from the counter. I have had a similar experience with each interaction at this pharmacy. Very disappointing as I have always treated them with respect and kindness.

I’v had great experiences at this shoppers, but Iv witnessed some disgusting dehumanizing acts by specific employees. A white woman who seems to be a manager, and one of the pharmacists will follow people around the store, harassing them that they are going to steal and telling them to get out. They only do this when a security guard is not around, but it’s extremely inappropriate. Quite frankly, these people are racist and treat homeless people and marginalized individuals like garbage. Again, there are some wonderful staff at this store, but these few who act inappropriate and disgusting to fellow humans make me never want to return.

I have been going to this Shoppers ever since I moved into the neighbourhood, and always enjoyed the convenience and service. Last night I went to fill a prescription and was completely ignored by the pharmacist. When I finally said I was following up on a faxed prescription, she curtly responded it hadn't been received. I showed it to her on my phone, when she finally deigned to walk over to the counter, and she immediately responded I can't accept that". From a customer perspective

The staff at this Shoppers are incredible. Back in December, I was looking for some hair colors and they were out of stock. I asked the cosmetic staff and manager to order some for me and they happliy took down my information and told me they would call me when the hair colors arrived. Unfortunately, the hair colors were discontinued but the staff here are great, also the front manager lady (a shorter lady) she was so sweet. The cashier are usually very nice too.I can understand how it is annoying for patreons who shops being followed but they also need to understand why. This SDM is right across from the Alpha House so they get a lot of homeless people and people under the influence. There is always someone sitting/sleeping/passed out/drinking outside on the stairs. They cause a lot of trouble here. Perhaps put the security guard in between the doors to prevent any weirdos from entering the store to begin with.Anyhow. Love the staff here.!

What's going on with inventory? Three trips in a row and the grocery shelves are nearly empty.

Security guards are very helpful when you're looking for items. Pharmacist was very rude. Otherwise everything was fine.

Worst shoppers in the city. The security here is useless. The large, overweight security guard stands in one spot all night, doing nothing but trying to intimidate customers, meanwhile there are 30 crack heads outside smoking on the front step. Most unsafe store in the city and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Do your job security!!! You’re not customer service, stop hitting on customers, and do your ******* job!!!!

Typical shoppers drug mart in terms of variety and stock, but I had to come give it a 5 star for the employees. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, caring, and helpful. Literally every time I go I end up having a nice conversation with an employee.

Unnecessary Long wait time to fill prescription. Terrible customer service! Management should look into the wait time and rudeness of the pharmacy stuff Lippi and Renae. Not the pharmacist but the assistants. It’s like they just do not care.
