Custom Plumbing

Do not recommend for large projects. They were not prepared at all to replace our sewer system. They removed trees and bushes that were not involved in the project.Unfortunately to replace our system after further investigation it required our basement to be ripped up, nothing was covered before they jack hammered up the floor. We still have dust all over the house. While digging in our front yard they cause a lot of damage to the surround trees from rushing to get the job done. Our basement window is broken. Our sprinkler system was also badly damaged (to be expected) and then buried along with the sewer pipe. We have spend days digging down trying to find all the damage. The trees they damaged, they buried the limbs in the yard which has made digging up the sprinkler system even harder. All they told us is they just do plumbing, they don’t fix that. After many phone calls they finally came to level our yard. Our yard is far from levelled and is going to cost a lot to fix. I do not recommend. It’s sad because the first time we used them they were excellent and the plumber was very helpful, responsive, and came after hours which is why we highly recommended them to our insurance for this job.

I had this job quoted from three other companies, sadly the other companies could not schedule me in within the month. Custom Plumbing however was available !! They have a large friendly staff and are ready and able to schedule work in a timely fashion when you need them. They completed the job from start to finish. Thanks goes to Chad, Josh and Matt.

I called Custom Plumbing and they came and did a great job fixing my drain! Responsive with good communication, on time, accurate and with great followup and reasonable rates. They found a problem that another plumber couldn't, kept me informed and repaired it for me.

When experiencing a plugged sewer pipe we had a hard time finding an available plumber. Custom Plumbing was availability and promptly showed up on the same day at the time they indicated. Very happy with the service provided and the expertise in the repair. Kudos to our responding plumber.

We had Custom Plumbing couple our house to the sewers when our street received the sewers system. They did a fantastic job from the plumbing to the floor repair. Now we are having them remove the bathtub and install a walk in shower. I highly recommend Matt and staff.

Called to get a leaky hot water heater repaired and was told that they don't service Lambton Shores area. Was willing to pay the higher service call amount for travel but the attitude of the person on the phone was demeaning (like I couldn't afford to pay). I guess I will call Bob Magee again and leave another message...Bob Magee must be very very busy since no one else will come a whole 30 km for a service call.

These guys showed up to fix a glog in a toilet. They ended up just taking the whole toilet and leaving. The guy on the phone is rude and useless. Does not listen but likes to yell. Use at own risk!

I tried to get a hold of another recommended company 2x this summer, but got no return call. My mom's friend then recommended Custom with rave reviews. I called Custom and Chad and Shannon came in 3 days and were polite, friendly, explanatory and efficient. This seems to be a well run company that will help you breathe easy. We are grateful for the excellent service and wish we'd tried them first instead of living with the problems longer than needed!

My kitchen drain was completely plugged, I called a few other companies they were not available. I called Custom Plumbing they were able to come out same day and on time. I really appreciated their help.

Prompt service, polite on the phone, able to address my plumbing need in quick fashion. I followed up with an offer for more business (installing a water softener) after my initial positive interaction, but they turned me down. I guess they don't do water softeners.
