They saw me for all three appointments right on time, no wait. They are sticklers about Covid protocols, which I welcomed. Secretary is helpful and professional. Echocardiogram technician was proficient. Now comes the surprise: Dr. Aswald is communicative. He does not hold back information, and he discusses his findings to minute details with his patients. (I.e. he did with me.) His explanations are forthright and clear, save for his accent. He repeats gladly what he had just said if you ask. He often refers to knowledge he can support with the findings of independent clinical trials and studies. He was the first to suggest to try to introduce a new med for me once a week, instead on a daily basis. That drug used to give me horrible cramps. Now with this brilliant slow start, I may be able to acclimatize my body to get used to it without cramps. I found him to be approachable, friendly, and with a dry sense of humour. He discusses philosophy (not academic) of healing and life with ease. I consider myself lucky to have become a patient under his care.
