Great food, excellent atmosphere, good value, and the couple who own it are super nice people who I remember from the Mondragon days. Try the Southern “Fried” sandwich. You’ll be glad you did!

The food is wonderful and the vibe is super cozy and cute. They've got a lot more going on than just great food—they're also sharing ideas about plant-based eating. This book, for example, was very powerful and further radicalized me to veganism.

Very Unique café!Lots of books to buy and a happy, upbeat atmosphere. Food is fully vegan and very delicious, went there for a coffee date and lunch. Had the Thyme burger which was fenomenal! Finished it off with the Date square and berry square which were amazing!

I liked this place. Quiet, friendly atmosphere and good service. I had a green tea and a muffin of some sort, I believe it had mango and banana in it. And then I sat there for two hours and read my book. I asked for more hot water for my green tea and the lovely gentleman brought my hot water refill to the table. In two hours you get a decent feel for a place. In those two hours a homeless person came in and checked things out. Another lady came in gushing about the sourdough she had bought and if they had any more of it. Her kids apparently loved it. Numerous other folks came and went, buying coffee, tea, dainties.Lots of books. Everywhere. If you have a few hours to spend in St. Boniface, check this place out.

One of the best overall brunch experiences I've had. The breakfast sandwich and southern fried tofu sandwich were both do good we shared them both and neither of us could pick a favourite. Also got a bunch of baked goods to bring home, and they certainly didn't disappoint. Loved the book selection and picked one out to bring home as well. On top of all this, I can't remember ever having met a nicer combination of staff and patrons anywhere I've been. Everyone was so friendly and spontaneous conversations started so naturally about the food, the books, and many other topics. We felt surrounded by new friends we had never met before! Can't wait to visit again, even if it is a pretty long trip for me.
