General Heating is a professional company. Efficient and friendly, cost effective heating help. Got an appointment within a few days of calling. The office called to say the worker was on their way (exactly as scheduled), they booties on to keep my house clean, and offered a couple of pricing options to fix my furnace. Payment was easy with a credit card on their tablet. The technicians are professional and courteous. They do a fantastic job you won't be disappointed.

General Heating came to my house on same day to perform some emergency repairs. Our boiler exhaust ducting was badly damaged on the back side and we were probably breathing in the exhaust for some time. Matthew and Roni were super easy to deal with and pricing was very fair. Would definitely consider them when it's time to replace my boiler.

Very happy with the service. We called General Heating for a service call which we had a problem with our furnace. They came on-time and fixed our furnace at a very reasonable price. They are very respectful, knowledgeable, and reliable. I will recommend it to family and friends.

After getting multiple quotes from various companies for a mini-split heat pump I decided to go with General Heating and Air Conditioning because Matthew sold me in our interactions and gave me the impression he was a stand up honest guy.The heat pump was installed in the spring of 2022 and unfortunately ran into some issues in the winter when it started leaking refrigerant.Unclear if it was a mechanical or installation issue but the point is that Matthew made sure the issue was fixed and even after it was fixed sent his guys a month after just to make sure the leak issue was fully resolved.There are pros & cons to going with larger companies such as Milani, Ashton etc. but from my experience here it was a good decision to go with General Heating and having a more personal experience which I'm sure will continue for any other of my HVAC needs.

General Heating & Air Conditioning have been doing the annual service on my boiler for a couple of years now. I have been in property letting for 30 years and Genera Heating is one of the most reliable heating company I have had the pleasure of using. This year I needed a new boiler and as expected, the price quoted was totally fair, with a detailed breakdown.All paperwork, certificates and guarantee registration were handled by General office and emailed to me promptly. This install was done perfectly and like art. I will recommend General Heating & Air Conditioning to all family and friends. Great job!

Very impressed with this company who I used for the first time to clean my fireplace. Excellent customer service on first contact and when my appointment had to be re-scheduled. Very professional technician who explained what may go wrong down the road but without a pushy sales approach. Just setting expectations. I tried using another company first which was completely the opposite experience (didn't show up) and knew I had to look elsewhere. I'm sure glad this was the second place I called. All expectations exceeded and they now have a happy and loyal customer moving forward for future fireplace tune-ups!

I had General Heating do an annual service on my fireplace and on demand water tank. Matt was my technician and he did a very good job and they had come back to sort out a minor detail a few days later which they took care of promptly. They were very knowledgeable about how to get rebates from BC Hydro for my next annual check up. Would recommend them.

I recently had AC installed at our home and was exceptionally pleased with the professional advice and service that I received from Huval. I would highly recommend General Heating as their customer is excellent. They are very receptive in ensuring that their customers needs are met. We live in a Strata and as we were first owners to install AC their were lots of rules and regulations to follow and forms to fill. This was all done by Huval from GH. The noise levels from our Diakon units are so low that even our neighbours commented that they could not hear it. General Heating specializes in AC’s so I will definitely give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Asked if I can get a quote for a new build, he was nice at first but when I explained I was trying to get a quote as we are in the process of replacing the AC guy we were using, I don't think he took me seriously and hung up. I ended up getting it through another company.

I obtained 4 quotes for replacement of a radiant heating system boiler and a water heater. All gas. The employee (Matthew) from General was professional, knowledgeable and offered several helpful suggestions. The quote was not the lowest, but it was detailed, precise and emailed to my residence. (The only one!) I hired them to install a Navien NCB-240E combination boiler/demand hot water system. They arrived on time and completed the work in one day. They did their work cheerfully and quietly with as little disturbance to my home as possible. When they left, everything was cleaned away. They arranged the installation license from the city and organized the after installation inspection. Matthew then assisted me with the application for the Fortis BC rebate submission.I highly recommend the company. From the quote, to arranging the installation date, to the actual work and even to the billing process. All of the staff were efficient, pleasant and easy to work with.
