Express Care Clinic

This clinic is a JOKE!!!I have covid and talked to a doctor over the phone. He was super helpful.But I was given a prescription and they sent it directly to Thier in store pharmacy where I have no coverage.So I called and told them my situation and that my dad was needing to come and pick up the prescription and bring it to my pharmacy where I have my coverage. She said no problem, get your dad to give us your name and we will print it off for them.Well my dad gets there and they just send him over to the in store pharmacy where my prescription is already filled and ready. And my dad had to pay $35 full price when I have 80% coverage elsewhere.It is not right that you go to a clinic and you can ONLY use Thier pharmacy when they give you a prescription.And then I called and asked why, and she HUNG UP ON ME!What a joke, when some people cannot afford to pay full price for medication.Don't say you can do something, then do the opposite. And then hang up on someone when they try to ask why.

Never got to see the doctor after bringing in my son to have his chest listened to. Receptionist wouldn't admit him and was unprofessional and rude. The doctors at this clinic may be amazing, but first impressions were 1 star.

Never been treated better at a medical clinic. From the receptionist, Dr. Jhameel, and the adjoining pharmacy...all caring people

Overall, it's a great place for a walk-in clinic. I would give it 5 stars, if not for the receptionist (Cindy, I believe?), She is a hit and miss. Sometimes very pleasant and helpful, other times abrupt and rude. More balanced attitude would make a big difference. We all, as adults, have to keep our emotions under control, especially in a work environment. The doctors are great, always very helpful.

I shouldn't judge the clinic too harshly considering I never got in. Went there twice with no doctor on site either time, even though i was told one would be there the next day. Not very helpful for a clinic

Dr Jhameel was great, kind, listened well. Recognized how difficult it was to be a caregiver for a parent and a healthcare professional. I asked a question at the front desk following the appointment. The MOA was very rude and condescending. She was blunt, did not explain things well. I was taken aback.

They kindly cover me after my Doctor had quit without notice. Hard when you have MS and osteoarthritis and need a regular doctor. The Doctor I saw and the staff were caring and understanding. No wait, in right away.

Doctor is rarely in with no fixed schedule. Its impossible to know as it changes week to week regardless of their posted business hours. Had to use a doctor that was available through call in only. Appointments are pre booked far in advance.Cindy the receptionist informed us that its this way because the doctor is working for Costal Health (or some such nonsense) so that is the reason hes not at his walk in clinic? How is this a walk in clinic? If a doctor cannot be present at his own practice why have it open in the first place?Oh, right, money.To sum it up. Waste of time. Dont bother going here. If i could rate zero i would.We arrived early, my son and i went twice, waiting in the cold to get in because Cindy does not review the messages or answer the phone (at least thats my experience). Both times we were told its all booked but a different doctor working at another unaffiliated site could call us. We tried that. The call was 20 min late.I think my son was misdiagnosed. This is the issue with call up doctors, they dont SEE the problem.

I had made an phone call appointment expressing URGENCY and had to pay 36.00 because i am out of province. My app was booked for 11:50 then after i made my payment i get a text saying to be ready for my app in 2 hours- which obviously doesn't make any sense, so after waiting for 10 mins with no phone call. I use the bathroom and don't take my phone and of course the doctor calls 15 mins after our scheduled appointment which i missed! so now i still have not talked to a doctor and i have paid 36:00 for NOTHING! JOKE.
