Rose's Smash Burgers
We had the fantastic Smash Burger and the exceptional cheese & veggie plate. Both were absolutely delicious! The food is made with love and the service was also just lovely. And to make a great experience even more perfect: While we were eating, they came back to our table and we were offered two complementary donuts. Just because we were the visitors with the longest journey. :-)

Rose's Smash Burgers
We had a fantastic visit to Big Spruce that featured incredible smash burgers, including an Impossible veggie burger and rosemary fries. All perfectly paired with my fav Big Spruce beer! One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time and it was served by such lovely people. Great service and vibe. 100% worth the drive from Dartmouth - we’re already planning our next visit!

Fun and laidback brewery with delicious food. Not a huge menu but we got the rosemary fries and smashburgers and everything was perfect. Beer selection skews in favor of IPAs and but there are a few other options. And what’s not on the menu is available canned in the “Sprucetique.” (just can’t drink any of it on the premises; have to take it home.) Both indoor and outdoor seating available with a beautiful view of the lake.

Rose's Smash Burgers
My partner & I had the most delicious lunch at Rose's. We each had their MOUTH WATERING burgers and mine included a gluten-free bun. We also had their iceberg salad which was so good - this is coming from someone who doesn't typically eat salads. It had pickles, onions and olives and a nice dressing. Their daily special (mushroom poutine) was also divine and hopefully finds its way onto their full time menu! Overall, you really shouldn't visit Big Spruce without stopping in for a meal here.
