A S C Automotive Repair

This garage does not look like much from the outside, in fact you might first have a hard time finding it and then maybe have a look and move on if you can, but that would be a mistake because the owner is a top notch nice guy who will help out with emergency repair senarios and the quality of the work done there, at least in my case and judgeing by how busy the place is, is as good as any dealer garage and better once you include the cost of the job. The turbo in my Ford F350 diesel died on the way to the Yukon from Kelowna, he fit me, gave me a quote that they stuck to, did a top notch repair on a highly technical job at a reasonable price and did it well. I'm writing this on my way back from Dawson City, Yukon, so I know the repair worked well, the truck is running smooth. They provided an old beat up but serviceable loaner car that we were happy to have while we waited for parts from Vancouver for a few days. They obviously do well on word of mouth as they do not even have a facebook page let alone a website. In fact the people in Cache Creek stated they are well known for their work on diesels. A 4.9 star recomendation from me, would be 5 but they do need to join the internet world for the millenium and beyound crowd.

My car broke down in Clinton, the tow truck driver suggested ASC Automotive. I am not from the area so I just went with his recommendation, I called ASC the next day and the owner was very polite and was obviously very busy. He still got to my car by the end of the day and had it fixed! I was by that time in Kamloops so he let me pay by etransfer and I picked my car up that evening. I was very impressed with how quickly he got it done! I wish this shop was closer to me as I just felt like the owner was a decent human and wouldn't charge me for something I really didn't need. All in all a good experience for having my car break down on me. Happy I dealt with a great mechanic.

Albert is a very quality man. They have done work for me on 4 things at separate times. Changed the exhaust system in my Lincoln Navigator. The windshield washer pump, the alternator and the shocks that keep the hood open. Not everything went according to plan and the Navigator had to go back a couple of times under warranty. But Albert stood behind the work and the warranties and even discounted the 2nd job to compensate me for my time. And for the last job he did not charge me at all, refusing to take my money for parts or labor. Not everything works to perfection all the time but he has gone out of his way t make sure I was happy and satisfied. GREAT, great customer service Albert. I thank you profusely.

May look abandoned but it is notThey took us in last minute and changed an injector on my 6.0 powerstroke at a really fair price (600$ injector included). Even let me and my girlfriend at the time sleep in our camper in the lot. Exceptional service!!

My mom's SUV broke down in Lytton. We called this repair shop ASC Automotive, who said we can get it in ASAP, we called the tow company across the street. The repair shop started working on her transmission and AC the very next day, he dealt with her warranty people. He had all the work done within 4-5 days! He was very pleasant to deal with, and I would recommend this shop to anyone, and will be going there for any future repairs. :)

ASC was very helpful and squeezed me in when I needed an emergency a/c repair. They had me back up and on the road within 24 hours. The price seemed reasonable, and I appreciated the time Albert spent explaining my options. Would recommend!

We had vehicle problems with the wiring. They found the problem and didn't screw us around like so many other places have. Other places said we needed a new computer (big bucks) but these guys were awesome.

Our car almost broke down close to cache creek and we brought it to ASC. After explaining our situation and needing a very quick solution, Mr. Albert took us in the next day and ordered the parts we needed on the same day! Veeeery reasonable price, they were super nice with us and car runs like new. Wish every mechanic had the same excellent service and understanding for their customers. Recommend 100%

I was from out of town when my truck bit the dust while hunting. My shift link cable broke and they got me in asap for repairs. However after returning home it broke again due to being routed improperly. Mistakes happen and once it was fixed properly at my usual shop Al at ASC sent me the full amount it cost to have it redone properly. Not many places will go the extra mile to call another shop, discuss what happened and take ownership of a mistake. Class act in my books. Only the 4 stars simply because the work wasn’t done properly it may have been someone new or a genuine mistake. I would still go back if I was in the area and needed work done.
