Wayne County Jail Division 1

My boy Matt had an apartment here for about 5 years. Very low rent, free meals and great security for being in Detroit. Can be loud at times, but otherwise great deal from what I hear. Kind of an odd name for an apartment complex though. Doesn't seem like it would market well, but I could be wrong. Anyone know if these apartments are pet friendly by chance? Let me know. Thanks!

They are beyond horrible!! They Never answer the phone regardless of the number you call & they will hang up on you while the phone is ringing. Must be nice to just punch in and get paid for NOTHING!!! GOOD FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

They lie about the inmates they are holding so that they make money of them staying there. No one answers the phone and the conditions Inside are just disgusting looks like a breeding ground for COVID-19. We need to call OSHA cause enough is enough. They got the same dust on the walls from last year. Zero maintenance. Workers there can't do there Job. They need to be shut down and relocated because who needs this negative environment in our beautiful Downtown Detroit.

Haven't heard a word from my son because of the phone. Never got a phone call at all. His crime isn't even that big. He can quarantine at freaking home.Wayne County Jail has really gone down since the 90's. Just to think I wanted to be an officer.

Great experience. I called to get information about my uncle and the person who answered the phone was very helpful and pleasant. I actually called first, and then came here to get directions. I thought I would read the comments and noticed that a lot of people were complaining about the people who are answering the phone. Since I saw a lot of bad comments, and I had a great experience, I thought I would give the other end of the spectrum. One thing to note, I felt that I was very direct with my questions, as well as being very polite to the person whom I was speaking with. I received both directness as well as politeness in return. Now lets see how my experience is going into the actual building and bonding someone out. To be continued.....

Worst Jail In The US, They Don't Answer The Phone At All, Lazy Correctional Officers Don't Do Nothing But Sit Around And Flirt With Nurses & Other Staff, They Barely Sanitize The Cells , & It's Overcrowded. My Son Was Locked Up Here For 3 Months With No Sign Of A Court Date They Flat Out Violating People's Constitutional Rights

The father of my grandchildren have been in there for over a week and has yet to be given a wash cloth, towel, tooth brush, or anything for hygiene. When the guards are mad or in a mood" they turn the heat off

Netflix needs to come do a documentary on this jail. Starting off with the receptionist who PURPOSELY let the phones ring. Staff feel so empowered ruining someone else’s life when they’re the most vulnerable, it’s so much regulations not being met here.

Nobody answers their phones there's about 10 different numbers to call nobody answers any of them they were rude to me yesterday but very nice to me today so I don't know what the hell's going on but they were ok today. My fiance says it's the worst place to be in.
