Love this cheese shop! I always go when I am in the area! It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide selection of fantastic cheese for an affordable price! The staff is very kind and helpful. They always help me find the kinds of cheese I am looking for. I love how I can always sample before I buy. You should definitely check them out!

Easily the best selection in town.Buyer beware: 3 different cheeses in 3 separate visits in a row - 2 from the specials fridge and 1 from the counter - have been on the shelf too long and filled with ammonia taste so as to be inedible. If you return stuff, there is usually an argument. Keep your receipts.Always ask for a sample of what you're buying.Be specific about how much you want and watch when it is being weighed. They tend to cut 250-500 grams more than is requested unless you monitor the scale.

I go for the olive bar in the back but always end up getting a few hundred grams of cheese. Shop can get busy but the staff and owner are very good and finding customers who are not being helped and keeps the line going. Olives are good quality. Cheese is top line. Prices are fair.

I love this cheese shop. They are always giving out great samples of cheeses that are often on sale. I have discovered many great cheeses at this Toronto landmark. Always go a little hungry as you will get a pretty good dose of cheese just walking through the store from samples offered by the salespeople. The staff really knows cheese.

Wow. Brought in with friends, was offered 4 different samples from Italy, Spain, and another. Very impressed and Wonderful taste testing experience. If visiting and enjoying Toronto and the Kensington Market, this store alone creates an experience worthy of practical vacation time.

I was visiting from out of town for the Braves and Blue Jays game and had been suggested to visit Global Cheese. Needless to say it was one of the best experiences of the trip! The quality was fantastic, the selection was expansive, I am truly jealous of those who live close by! Great people, great product.

Picked up some Bulgarian feta. Asked for 350g. Paid for 350g. Since I was using it for baking I weighed the cheese at home. It was sub 300g but close enough, if I had paid for 300g. Not sure what was going on but I feel cheated as I paid for more than what I was told I was getting. Cheese was good.

We bought two large cheese trays from them for an event we were hosting. They worked with us and our budget to create the cheese trays. Their advice and experience was greatly appreciated and made the process extremely easy. The trays were absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed them! We're very excited to use Global Cheese for our next event!
