U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Oakville

I declare this specific U-Haul site to be the best experience I've had during our whole move. The whole team looks happy to be there, they talk about each other in glowing terms and they treat the customers like friends. Thank you Preet, Silas, Rob, Michelle and anybody else (I know there were more for sure) that I've dealt with so far. Great service all around. We're not finished yet, but man, these guys make me feel so relaxed about it all.

Exceptionally good service. Everyone is very helpful and listen to your requirements very well. Special thanks to Arjun for being perfect at his work and helping us.

Caution when getting a truck from here they charge credit cards without peoples knowledge! We got a truck here in DECEMBER and gas was filled 3 MONTHS later in March they start randomly charging us $50 week claiming it’s payments they never charged us? Does that make any sense? No and they continued to charge us $50 after calling them a bunch of times no one seem to call us back with a reason to why we were charged they just refunded us the amount they took. Here’s the best part they now have charged us AGAIN for the amount they refunded us.I say if you go with this location be cautious! once you’ve done your due and have payed for everything cancel your card and ask for a new one. this location is nothing but a fraudulent scam they will help themselves whenever they want.

This is by far the best Uhaul in the GTA. As a frequent Uhaul shopper the experience here is top notch. The staff are well trained and exceptionally friendly. Michelle goes above and beyond every time and I would highly recommend this uhaul location to anyone in need of a truck rental or storage unit!

Stay away from this location, they don't have a clue of what is going on when you cancel your storage unit online they still charge you for the next months thereafter and keep sending you late payment notification and pre-lien notice even though I cancelled and called them and they confirmed that my unit has been cancelled!!! very frustrating and waste of time to keep emailing and calling to have this issue fixed!!!

Staff were nice. However this was a terrible experience. Moving is stressful enough, but showing up when you have a reservation and already paid only to find out that the truck you reserved isn’t there and your out of options. We ended up with a truck that didn’t fit all of our belongings, and the lack of organizing pushed our schedule behind effecting our move negatively. I wouldn’t recommend this location. I have moved many times over the years and Uhaul normally has it S**t together.

We rent a trailer occasionally and pick up and return is quick and easy.

Have rented there 3 times in last month. Always friendly customer service in office. The 20 foot truck hits the sweet spot as not too large to drive. 15 footer is easier to drive but both eat gas. Cheap rental rates and 6 blankets for $5 comes in clutch to protect furniture.

I reserved a pick up for first thing on a Sunday morning.I was there early, as were three others, but we had to wait as the person with the keys to open up was late.The pick up I was given was absolutely disgusting. Not only was it filthy, it stunk so bad. I get that they are probably rented by hard working individuals who are all sweaty but clean the truck up!When I returned it, the staff actually admitted that he noted it smelled bad and needed to be cleaned.I had to ask that the windshield fluid be topped up as it was showing low. And when I told the staff the warning light was on for low tire pressure, he said it was fine.It was a terrible experience. Unfortunately they are the only ones open on Sundays.
