Stopped here on a Saturday night for dinner. At first there was not much space in the patio, but as soon as a spot became available the waitress did ask if we wanted to move outside. Which was great.The inside of the restaurant is not very well lit so i was glad we got a spot outdoors.Food was great, just a bit delayed on the refill but overall the experience was pleasant and so was the waitress.I would definitely recommend.

First time visiting this place and would definitely be coming back. The service is fast and the food is really tasty. I love how they paired the chicken strips with potato salad, coleslaw, and crispy kale. The batter of the buffalo cauliflower is very tasty and crispy. Paired with sangria would be the perfect patio meal.

Great place. I partied here with Paul Coffey one night. We ordered the deviled eggs twice. It’s a shame they don’t take Canadian Tire money on par anymore (the reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars) but otherwise a great spot.

Excellent vibe and great selection of craft beers. I had the gar-par wings which were quite average (fatty and greasy). My husband had the burger which was excellent

Love the back patio. So pretty, and there was lots of shade. Dinner time good wasn't amazing and was very expensive. My partner got a burger and salad, and his burger was pretty small, and it was over $20... I got a fry Supreme, which was okay but not amazing. For drinks, the royal degenerate was pretty yummy if you're a rum fan and like coconut.On another occasion, we went for brunch, and that was much better.

I just wrote another review mentioning my top three places in Guelph to grab a bite, and this is also one of them.The Royal Burger, Buffalo Cauliflower, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and their brunch Chicken and Waffles are to die for.Very excellent beer selection and awesome service. Highly recommended.

Royal Electric is one of our favourite restaurants in Guelph. They have turned this building into a really cool place to eat, drink, and hang out. They have a great selection of beer on tap, including many locally produced craft beer.The food is always amazing. The menu is small, but what they do have is spectacular. Favourite dishes include the fried chicken (order the Nashville hot) and the catfish, but we have never had a bad meal here.The service is always very friendly and attentive.The atmosphere is cool. Exposed bricks and beams.Why did I not give them a 5? Because they took the Mac and cheese off the menu and it was a huge favourite -also I wouldn't mind a couple other menu options to bring me in more often. Otherwise this place is amazing.A must visit restaurant in Guelph.I forgot to mention that their buffalo cauliflower bites are the best I have ever had. Huge pieces full of flavour.
