Training with Sit Means Sit is by far the best decision we have ever made. We have actually received compliments on our dogs behavior from strangers when we are out in public with them. When we got our bulldog puppy recently the first thing we did was call Sit Means Sit and book her lessons!Ashton and Jess are both absolutely incredible trainers. We have referred many friends and family to them over the years and will continue to happily do so!

Ashton is a wonderful trainer to work with. He gave us the tools to work with our puppy and make him the best family pet we could want. I am extremely happy with foundation that has been laid and the obvious results we are seeing. I love that lifetime support is available should we need to reach out in the future.

From day one, we knew that we would be needing an experienced and knowledgeable trainer for our Belgian Malinois. When Sit Means Sit (Ajax) came highly recommended by one of our neighbours, we decided to open up a conversation with them.Ashton from the get go was very informative and clear about training styles and expectations and his experience with shepherds (we ended up asking a lot of questions!), and he assigned us his Malinois expert, Jessica.Not only has our high drive, high energy, highly sassy pup received her e-collar training, but Jess and Ashton both were very happy to answer all of our questions whenever one came up. Jess even sent nail clipping videos, and personal recommendations on pet products that have worked for her own dogs.The personal touch will always be what made SMS worth it, not to mention the training component!

Ashton was incredible! Benny our stubborn shihtzu mix was our first pup and it seemed impossible to get him to listen or to train him even with the basics. Thanks to Sit Means Sit Benny is our good boy now and is an absolute joy. No trouble from him. Forever grateful for the help!

My fiancée & I tried really hard in reading through training materials and of course, viewing numerous instructional videos. After about 6 months of trying our best post-work and on weekends with attempting to hone in on trainings, we realized that to lay the groundwork and foundation that would set our dog up for the rest of its life - we should invest in some professional assistance. We are truly so glad that we did. 10 days at Sit Means Sit we feel has altered what we would have experienced with our dog for the next 10+ years. Like most pet owners of course, we were nervous at first handing our baby over to someone but, after much research on trainers all over the GTA, we made the decision to go with Sit Means Sit. Ashton was so professional and responsive to our needs. He understood exactly what we were hoping for and delivered. When someone can achieve instilling the type of desired behaviour in a dog so quickly and the dog in turn loves them still (our dog loves Ashton), that is truly an amazing equation. I can't stop recommending Sit Means Sit enough to others now. Absolutely a game changing outcome.

We just finished our Puppy Primer with Jessica and have seen a great improvement in our 4 month old doberman in just 3 classes! We feel more confident with the right tools in our hands. Being taught by a professional is a hundred times more effective than teaching yourself by watching YouTube. We will be enrolling our puppy in their immersive program and look forward to working with Jessica and the rest of the team at Sit Means Sit Ajax. We adopted a high energy Husky/ Malamute 1.5 years ago. She was uncontrollable in situations where she was excited and would run away if let off leash. After 10 days with Ashton our dog came back eager to listen to commands. I was able to let her off leash at the dog park and she behaved amazingly well. We couldn't have helped her by ourselves and are very satisfied with his training methods.

Less than a year ago I rescued a German Shepherd mini Pincer mix (HIGH energy scatter brain) and after two months of my usual training it just wasn't cutting it, I looked up these guys and thought I'd give it a shot, fast track 6 months, I have a well behaved dog with a stellar recall even off leashIf you want a dog who REALLY enjoys 'being good' go with SMS, and I mean, the dogs lifetime of training? you can't go wrong there, like I said, 6 months in. I paid once, staff is fantastic, answer all questions I can think of, will help you out and trust me, they WILL find flaws that you then can work on, and before you know it, you will have a dog who can have a rabbit as a sister (see photo, and notice the loose leash)

We have a high energy golden puppy that required the assistance of a professional. I reached out to Ashton from SMS and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable, personable individual to help up to get Murphy on his way to becoming a well behaved, controllable puppy. The training provided by Ashton to both Murphy and myself far surpassed my expectations and what was achieved in a short period of time was remarkable.
