Clear Lake Village Resort

Although the area is quite nice, the accomodations are NOT. Bed linens were dirty, the floors had an inch of dirt all around, kitchen appliances in disgusting conditions, spider nets in every corner. The bbqs had probably never been cleaned before. The staff is never available, the office always closed. They mention that cleaning supplies are provided, although they aren't.And the railway passing less than 100m from the village ensure loud train passing by every hour day and night.Such a waste of money...

A group of us stayed in cabin 10 and had a great weekend. The cabin is rustic in the woods with a shared fire pit , but had a wood stove to keep us warm on a cool weekend. The property is under.construction but you can see that it will be very nice when done. The lake is beautiful and is a short walk from the cabin. There is a craft brewery and pizza place within walking distance which was very good. The cabin was fairly clean but could use alittle more fine detailed cleaning and brighter lighting as alot of bulbs were out. All in all We would return again

This is a great cottage resort with a awesome beach. The cottages themselves are nothing super fancy, but the draw of this place is not the cottages but the lake. (Although they are doing renovations).They have a large central area for camp activities like bocce or corn hole or croquet with a massive shared firepit in the centre which is great, and a shared bbq area.Within walking distance to the cottages are a great little brewery and a super tasty pizza place called Pie.Great place if you have kids/dogs, tons to see and do.It's a bit far to the Kee to Bala and taxi services often get overrun, so be prepared for a long walk if you're walking. (Maybe they could setup a shuttle?)I'll definitely be back.

Very rude staff! Awful customer service! We drove 3 hours to get to the resort we booked. They were so rude that we preferred to cancel and drove back. The guy (Mitch), who was supposed to check us in, ignored us for two hours and after two hours he said wait for an hour so that we do the bed and change the sheet. Then, he said by the way power went off last night and may not come back tonight too!!! They could have called us in the morning or at least they could have said that when we got there!!!! Not keeping us and ignoring us for two hours and then letting us know about that. The guy was not even sorry and started fighting with my husband. We decided not to stay there and we did not feel safe, as the staff seemed to be mentally sick!

Extremely disappointed when we arrived to Clear Lake Village Resort. I took my family here for a weekend away. When we arrived at Clear Lake Village Resort we were to pick up our cabin keys from Mitch at the Brewery. Once we got there Mitch had no idea on our arrival and seemed very confused. I told him I was here to stay at a cabin for the weekend and he looked at me like I was an idiot... After we sorted everything out we finally got the key to the cabin. Once we got to the cabin it was not what we booked. AT ALL. The cabin was in a construction zone and there was beer cans all over the place, The place was small and not what we asked/booked for. When calling back they asked us to go to two different cabins to see what we would like best, which I thought was nice. After agreeing on a cabin there were no sheets place was very dirty and none of the lights were working. I called back to see if someone could help but I was told just to grab the things we needed at the other cabins". Really??? This is what we paid for?? After cleaning the place up and transferring over all the amenities

If it was possible to give a 0 Star rating I would. Before coming to this cottage we went through all the reviews on both Trip Advisor and Google. Due to the frequency of mixed reviews, some being very good, some being horrible we decided to gamble. We came here expecting a clean, well kept location; we got the exact opposite. Although the cottages were clean they were flustered with an array of problems. Toilets clogging (from normal use), lights not working, fans dysfunctional. There were several large holes on the deck of the cottage which caused several individuals to fall multiple times (we are still contemplating legal action as this did result in injury). Upon our exit we cleaned the cottages from top to bottom, and everyone that came was a non smoker. Upon our exit we received an email stating we owed additional damages due cleaning and smoking related burns. Completely dissatisfied, will not recommend or return

Check-in/out is done at the on site brewery. The brewery has some great beer and food.The cabins are a little rustic, but you aren't there to sit inside the cabin. They are currently building new cabins.Clear Lake is wonderful! You can walk out about 50 feet and only be in about 4 feet of water with a beautiful sand bottom. There are a couple of canoes and other water activities to do.

My group of friends have been coming here for the past 6 may long weekends and 5 family day long weekends. It's a great spot and the cottages are decent enough to have a great time with good friends. The beach access is good however not very big. The middle common area has enough room to play summer games like corn hole, frisbee, beer pong or just hang out around the large firepit. There's isn't any room service and the newest cottages are a little trickier to access. Full disclosure the entire resort is under construction this year so its not like it has been in previous years. Either way it's still a good spot to spend a long weekend.

We always have such an amazing time here. It's quiet and cozy. I love the rustic cabin feel. Nothing beats being on the clear. Pie is across the street as well as Clear Lake Brewing Company.

We stayed here during the week. We had a party of 4 and it was 99 dollars a night each. We thought we signed up for testing out the new spa facilities but it is all still under construction. The cabins are ok, little run down but have everything you need. We purchased a keg for the room to try out the taps but it came out quite foamy. A gentleman did come have a look but it didn't change much. They checked in with us about it but did not attempt to fix it again. Staff were friendly and pastries in the morning were nice. If you are looking for a cabin in the woods with some beach access and lots of beer and pizza close by this is your spot. If you're looking for a spa or something a little more high end I would hold off until it's finished.
