Sprouts Child Care

We are so happy with the level of care the staff have at Sprouts! The Manager Kristine and the rest of the staff are very attentive to our Son, keep very clear and frequent lines of communication with us, and ensure the children are engaging in fun and developmentally appropriate activities. Pictures and other important updates are posted frequently throughout the day on the HiMama app to keep parents engaged. I would 100% recommend this care facility to friends and family for their children.

My son started last September 2021, every drop off time he will cry. But the teachers helped me adjust and always make sure that he is okay. Now he doesn’t cry anymore drop off and pick up. I always see his smiles and I know he is having a great time everyday. They send the pictures of the activities they do throughout the day which I really love.The teachers are very approachable and kind and they do truly care about the kids.

My husband and I recently enrolled our daughter at Sprouts Child Care and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.Everyone at Sprouts Child Care, especially Kristine and Ms. Poornima, have made this transition as seamless as possible for our daughter and us!They take such good care of our little girl and keep us posted on how she is and how her day is going. It is a very safe, clean and friendly environment. They provide great snacks and meals, and always have the cutest learning exercises. I love all the updates and pictures. It really gives me peace of mind knowing I can drop my daughter off leaving her in good hands of people who care and that we can trust.It’s always hard to find a good spot for childcare so if you’re still looking I strongly recommend Sprouts childcare.

Again to reiterate previous reviews, the staff is great. I loved my child's teachers and the director of the facility.The owner is terrible! We constantly fought over monthly payments, deposits and being over charged!My suggestion to anyone sending their child here is to pay by cheque ONLY! DO NOT LET THEM AUTO WITHDRAW! They won't provide you a breakdown of the days you're being charged for or a receipt.

The best aspects of Sprouts are most of its teachers, the email application used to share updates/photos and the philosophy they are trying to implement. They just fall short. It did seem a bit chaotic; which makes it more difficult for both the children and staff. More importantly, my daughter didn't want to go and cried almost every day before she attended. She did not do this at her first daycare and hasn't since starting school and switching to a new daycare. I am so grateful that I didn't start her at 12 months here as I may not have known she didn't like this daycare specifically rather than liking daycare at all. I should also warn you about the accounting side of things. It is run very unprofessionally and if you are on subsidy, I would check to make sure you and the program providing subsidy are both paying the correct amount. It wasn't in my case. Unsurprisingly, I would not recommend this daycare.

Our experience at Sprouts so far has been nothing but positive. The teachers Kiara and Jocelyn are extremely dedicated, passionate, and they tailor learning activities to the needs and interests of their students.Kristine, the coordinator, has been fantastic with communicating with us, and is also hands-on with the students when required.Really love the updates and pictures the teachers provide daily through the HiMama App, and also a great way to communicate directly with the teachers.My son loves it there, and I am looking forward to enrolling my son next year! Highly recommend!

We started bringing our son to Sprouts at 14 months old and he is now in the preschool room. The staff at sprouts are amazing, they made our transition to child care so easy for our entire family. The quality of care and communication to the parents is outstanding. We will be bringing our second son to Sprouts when the time comes.

As a teacher, I am extremely picky about childcare. As a mother, I'm even pickier. Sprouts has been, and continues to be, an amazing experience. We started in September of 2021 when my eldest was just over 2 years old, and my youngest had just turned 1. Kristine, and the amazing educators in both the preschool and toddler rooms, made our transition so smooth. Kristine is the most organized, and kind supervisor I've had the pleasure of meeting. They answer your questions, phone calls and emails, in a very timely fashion. I never feel worried when we drop our girls off. They use the HiMama app, which is wonderful. We get so many little pictures, and messages throughout the day, and the centre is in constant communication with you. At pickup, they spend so much time discussing your childs' day, and all of the wonderful things they did, as well as what they need to work on. It is such a collaborative, and supportive environment, with constant communication between educators, parents, and kiddos. Most importantly, my daughters love going. They LOVE their educators. Ms. Kiara, Ms. Jocelyn, and Ms. Poornima (as well as all the other wonderful, kind ladies we've met along the way) have been such a consistent, and exceptional support to my girls. My daughters speak of them frequently when they are home, and gush about how much they adore them. They host adorable spirit days, and we get lots of art projects and crafts sent home pretty much weekly. My girls have also met some truly wonderful little friends as well! If you are looking for a centre that wholeheartedly loves your children, has excellent programming, and values kids exploring and growing, Sprouts is it. Thank you, to all of the educators, and of course Kristine, for making our experience so wonderful.

The staff are amazing, they genuinely care for the kids and put their hearts into teaching them.The owner, Javed, however is a different story. If you decide to use this daycare and require subsidy...make sure you have it in place before attending. He has over charged me, and full out refuses to repay when he owes even a penny. I would consider that to be theft, no? He is the biggest issue with this establishment, so take warning. I'm not the only parent to experience this, and I'm sure I won't be the last.

The teachers at Sprouts are all incredible. They are kind ,caring and they treat the kids like their own. I dont understand the negative reviews, I think its unfair to rate an entire daycare so low based off of the owner's actions. My two and half year old son has been going to Sprouts for over a year now and he absolutely loves it there! I can't speak highly enough about the teachers and the supervisor Kristine. They are always polite and respectful and they go above and beyond every day. The meals and snacks are nutritious and they are always sending my kid home with the cutest crafts. It gives me peace knowing I'm dropping my son off with people I can trust to take care of him they way I do. Hoping sprouts continues to grow and that these girls stay there for a long time, I'd hate to see any of them leave !
