Kootenay River Runners
My husband and I did a full day rafting on the Kootenay river, and it was worthy in all aspects. Tim, Zach and Mason from Kootenary River Runners took great care of us, and ensured that the experience was both safe and entertaining. Also, they don’t charge you for the photos unlike other tour operators.

My Boyfriend and I had such a fantastic experience!! We did the the full day Kootenay river raft with Tyler and Zack as our guides and it was so much fun!! We would 100% do the trip again and would recommend the trip! Tyler and Zack were amazing guides, they made the trip very fun and special.

They were fantastic! Made sure that everyone was having a great time, while keeping everyone safe. All the guides were amazing and hilarious, but I have to give a special shout-out to Bill. He was so enthusiastic, outgoing, and overall a delight to be around. Would definitely go again!!!

My first ever white water rafting experience was exhilarating. Our guide Zac did a fantastic job managing our raft and kept us entertained from the word go! The crisp cold glacier water and Zac's jokes kept us thrilled and entertained all at the same time! Thank. you - Kootenay River Runners and a special thanks to Zac and the staff at the Toby Creek location! You guys rock!!

Absolutely incredible experience. The guides were hilarious and great people to be around but still very professional. We had a group of 16 most of us never done rafting and it was fun for everybody, not to challenging to the point where you couldn’t enjoy the experience and scenery

We recently took a rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River with Kootenay River Runners. We had an excellent time and I’d highly recommend using Kootenay River Runners for your first or next white water adventure. Our guide was Dean who was professional, fun and committed to safety. He has a passion for guiding that showed on this trip, was welcoming to all aboard and knew how to get the thrills. Give Kootenay River Runners a try and be sure to ask for Dean.

Wow, what an experience. Seeing the Kootenay River while on a guided raft offers a whole new perspective and appreciation for just how beautiful this area of the Rookies is. I can't say enough about the staff. Russ was the bus driver made sure that everyone was safe & comfortable. Tyler & Jacob were the two guides on our expedition. Both of these fellows were awesome, making sure we were prepared & safe for the adventure that lies ahead. Make Kootenay River Runners part of your vacation plans, you won't regret it!
