Les Vieux-Moulins Golf Club

The course is only ok. But the greens are running very nice. Early in the season and only 2 are not very good. For the price it's hard to beat. Good place to learn and practice your short game

Course needs some TLC. A nice, if fairly ordinary layout let down by poorly maintained conditions. Damaged tees, parched and hard packed fairways, rocky bunkers, and missing water hazards. The greens weren't bad. And no clubhouse services after the round for a chance for a beverage.

Extremely disappointing this beautiful course has run into such a state of disrepair. Played there Sat 20 June 2020. They fairways are burnt beyond recognition from the rough. If you hit the fairway its so hard the ball will run all the way into the woods cause there is no grass in the rough to stop it. Most of the greens are unplayable and would be a poor excuse for a temporary green on most courses. This is by far the most depressing course ive ever seen. The tee boxes are like cement, there is no way you can compress any shot without risking breaking you club or your wrist. Most of the time we have to take a free lift in the middle of the fairway because we were on an earth baked spot of desert badlands. It is incomprehensible that even with some rainfall this course would be playable this year. below is an actual photo of a tee box. Please sell this course or put some money into it.

Made us pay the full price for 9 holes. I didn't mind at first but after playing I can see why this course receives negative feedback. Course was in horrible shape, the fairways have a bunch of dead grass areas. A lot of the greens were under repair. Not even worth wasting your time when there are much better course in the area for similar price.

Not the nicest course. Poorly maintained. But great price and I actually really enjoy the layout of this course. Had a lot of potential that’s for sure.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible!We booked a tee time for 1030am, I woke up with back pain and decided to cancel (which we paid extra for the insurance, just in case).We called at 7am to make sure they had plenty of time to refill the slot, they said no problem... Great!Not great... After they charged my credit card, we called to ask about it and apparently they waited until 1020am to actually cancel, which means even though we paid for the insurance and called super early, we don't get a refund.This definitely makes me think that no one wants to golf here, I guess they knew they wouldn't be able to fill the tee time, so purposely created this situation where they got our money either way and we learned a lesson to never ever book here again or recommend this location to anyone!

This was a good experience overall at Les Vieux. I found a deal on an app for a twilight round on the front 9 - couldn't beat the pricepoint under 20 bucks to walk the course. Staff was sharp and I had no issues teeing off on time.One of the previous posters noted issues with the fairways and some were indeed cooked but it didn't take away from the challenging play and nice holes- many of which were wide and forgiving off the tee. The greens were in pretty good shape so the odd roll on the fairway was no big deal. To be sure, it was unfortunate that all the great water features appeared to be drained and some hole signs in disrepair but given the Pandemic it is just nice to be playing and these are minor criticisms.This is a pretty good course if you are looking for a laid-back atmosphere to hone the game. I'd return.

An all around frustrating experience. We booked online for 4:50pm and selected the option to rent clubs. When we got to the course, 15 minutes early, we had to pay and noticed that the price was higher than what was posted online. The people inside said that it was because the website is owned by someone else and they need to take a cut. Then, they said that they couldn't rent out clubs even though it was an option online. 4:50 rolled around and we were told to wait as the course was backed up. We had to wait another 25 minutes before we could play. THE TEE TIMES ARE NOT ACTUALLY TEE TIMES. Then we had a terrible experience with golfers behind us who were teeing up with drivers in the middle of the fairway. One of the golfers came inches away from blasting through my ankles. We let them play through. This is not to mention that the grass is actually more dirt than grass.

Vieux-Moulins Golf Club is the best bang for your buck in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. The conditions are really good this year due to the amount of rain we're getting. The layout is interesting. The staff are friendly and work hard to keep the place up.I wish the practice facility was improved. The driving mats are all worn out and the putting green is under repair.

First and last time playing here. We booked through golf now and when we got there the lady at the front said we owed $50.00 still when it said we already paid $7 on the email and only owed $43. She said something about some fee which was a lie so we ended up paying an extra $7. In total it was $87 for 2 with a cart and for a course like this it should be at most $20 each. The fairways were dry and almost unplayable. Even after it rained 2 days straight. The tee boxes were the worst I've seen on any course. EVER. The bugs were awful, almost unbearable. One of the least enjoyed experiences golfing for me.
