Château Saint John Hotel & Suites

The employees at this hotel are friendly considerate and very helpful we stay at the Chateau when we visit St John every year this year we came for a funeral service and they could not have been any better. The suite is very comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for all your extra help this year.

We booked the room online through Expedia enroute from Nova Scotia to the U.S and got a 25 % discount. The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. The room was very spacious and spotless and all the staff members we interacted with were super friendly. Breakfast was included with a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. And we highly appreciated the heated and secure underground parking as we were travelling with a lot of luggage which we did not want to bring up to our room. Highly recommended!

Staff are really exceptional! Very hospitable, cheerful and pleasant. Room was very nice, comfortable. My only personal issue, being vegetarian, was no non-meat option at dinner. Otherwise, fantastic hotel!!

Customer service was absolutely perfect. The room was super clean. I must have shown up at a not busy time because I didn't see one guest. The parking garage is small and 1 level though, but it was empty when I was in it. Would return again :)

Great location for the Hospital and easy access to highway.Beautiful rooms, friendly staff!Only problem issues are...No recyclable bins for your used containers, or a Microwave but does have a fridge & coffee machine.Need to have a portfolio for the Guide to the TV (what's on) & details to the area such as Hospital, shopping district and attractions a must see of St. John's.

Extraordinary hotel! Traveling for sad reasons (visiting my ailing mother in hospital) the staff made us feel like we were home. They were incredibly warm and accommodating: Sarah, Erik, Tabitha, Heather, Ann-Marie, Linette, and all front desk staff were ready and happy to help us with whatever we needed, including providing a microwave for our room, a water jug with ice in the middle of the night and a late check-out to help take the pressure off a bad day. The staff are so friendly, I don't know if I would have noticed anything negative, they're just too good. We had a good rate, and were upgraded to the hospital rate so even the value was great.The rooms are beautifully appointed, the beds and pillows the comfiest. The breakfast/lounge is perfect for the daily hot breakfast served by the amazing Trudy, and her team, and is a great space to eat take out with an adult beverage served by Michaela of the front desk staff.The lobby/lounge is super comfortable and frequently populated with recent immigrants, everyone treated with courtesy and respect.Everywhere is spotless - housekeeping and maintenance are super responsive.Finally, the little snack market was well equipped with anything you might need and if it weren't, I think the staff would source it elsewhere just to keep the client.Will absolutely return.

Nice clean and elegant rooms. Complimentary breakfast is amazing with large selection and the most energetic staff they always made me smile! Great access to highway and 5 minutes from many famous sites.

Didn't know where we would stay in St John. Was the first place we seen and stopped in. Stayed for 4 nights. Paid day by day as we didn't know how long we would stay. Room was superb. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Fresh towels everyday. Staff was beyond wonderful from front desk to cleaning crew. Trudy the kitchen queen chats with everyone and is caring. If you need a place to sleep and feel at home this is the place. Will certainly come back for a real vacation soon.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and located conveniently off the highway. Parking was free and breakfast was included which was nice. There are lots of restaurants nearby too

Rooms are large and spacious. Location is ideal for access to freeway. Advertised as non smoking hotel, but we noticed otherwise. The breakfast is the best part of this hotel. Staff are amazing and food is great.
