Caribbean Kitchen

This place disappoints. Four times I have gone and 3 times the didn't have the food I wanted. Twice no Roti's for roti. Today no chicken to make Curry Chicken Roti and also no rice and peas. This is at 5pm, the start of dinner hour. Last Saturday i tried going....closed sigh on door during regular business ours. What a joke, not coming back.Thank you for your response. I gave your restaurant 4 chances already, each time my order could not be filled by lack of product, that's a lot of chances. no thx, good luck

Stopped by today for lunch as I am a big fan of Jamaican/Caribbean food. Ordered the Boneless Curry Chicken roti combo with plantain and callaloo (they were out of chickpeas).I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and went out of her way to welcome me as a new customer, and explain the different items including those I wasn’t familiar with. The food itself was some of the best I’ve had since leaving Toronto and moving back to Belleville, and the amount you get is more than fair for the price.I was a bit upset that the stew chicken and beef weren’t available, but I will definitely be going back to try it again as I am confident that it will be delicious.I would highly recommend for good value and extremely good quality Caribbean food.

We ordered 2 chicken roti's. They were delicious. But I found they were a little scarce on the chicken. Could have used some more pieces of chicken. But other than that they were excellent.

I'm very familiar with this cuisine but as for the lady that served it to me this afternoon was rude. I got a dirty look and felt as though she had no hospitality or a good attitude towards the customer. I don't think this person should be working for your business as I feel sorry to say she is ruining your business.wondering if she slit in my order. Not good.

My husband went in and got us Boneless jerk chicken and roti. It was delicious and very filling. He said he spoke with a delightful lady named Leah who couldn’t have been more nice. I look forward to going in again and trying other items off the menu.

Ordered chicken/potato roti, omg it was delicious. We’ve come from the Mississauga area where roti shops are everywhere and I’ve gotta tell you this was better than any of them, thanks we’ll be back for more with our friends and family now that we live here!

I was shocked that the person behind the counter was not wearing a mask.The jerk chicken tasted like it was a day old or possibly more. It was Saturday for lunch so it was not just sitting around for a full day. It was dry and had little jerk flavor.Unfortunately this was not a good experience. I will not return to eat here.

I visited here today with my girl friend. I would not recommend this place simply due to the fact that the food does not have authentic Caribbean flavours (it is actually very watered down and tasteless) and the food is not cooked onsite. I'm not sure how one can ensure food quality of cooked foods being transported hours away from their location but it is a shame since the area could really use a good Caribbean spot. The other Caribbean restaurant is no better flavour wise but at least the food is cooked onsite. While the people are friendly, the food is not great. My dog enjoyed the chicken more than I did and I ended up feeding most of it to her. Also, portion sizes need regulation. I had way more rice than chicken while my girlfriend had more chicken than rice and we both ordered the same size.EDIT: Glad to see your employee gave you my message. Thanks for your reply but it was YOUR STAFF - the very friendly but timid vegetarian girl at the front that told me there is no cooking done onsite and the food is brought in, cooked in Toronto. My chicken was microwaved in the back and I ordered two of the same sized meals. See the photo I posted shows your curry chicken in the same size container as your jerk regular meal. I know your job is to do damage control online but this isn't the way. Your food has no flavour and the plantains were COLD because they were sitting at the front counter under no heat element. Plantain can be cooked to order as it only takes a few moments or set under a heat lamp to keep them warm and keep cooked food at the right temperature. There is no reason to serve cold plantain. Where are your supposed cooks in the back? Why would you need to microwave food if you have chefs in your kitchen onsite? I did not eat much of the the chicken, I tasted it and I pulled a piece apart and gave a chunk to my dog. BTW, I tried calling twice on two separate days but the manager is never there. He is not here ma'am" is what I've bee. getting. Trust me
