John went way above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in buying a home. Moving from Ontario to Nova Scotia can be a complicated and sometimes unnerving experience. John responded almost immediately to every question I asked of him. Not only did he introduce me to reputable and reliable trades and professionals, but he would also follow up on their progress in fulfilling every requirement necessary to facilitate such a challenging move. He also personally, and physically, attended to issues discovered during a home inspection. I have, and will recommend John to anyone who is serious about moving to and/or in Nova Scotia.

My husband and I have retired to our dream home in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. We have this home because of John Foss. John patiently showed us around a number of listings in the summer of 2012 and gave us advice on how to keep an eye out for new listings in the area. The fact that we now own our dream home is a direct result of that advice. As a result of his above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty patience, kindness, and good advice, she, too, now owns a lovely property in Shelburne at a price that was more than fair. And he has continued to give the three of us useful and sound advice, without any expectation of profiting from it directly, since we all moved here almost four years ago.

My Husband Andrew and I decided to purchase a property in Shelburne Nova Scotia in 2017. As we are not from the area, we browsed the different real estate sites and got an idea of what we would like to view. John Foss's name was listed for a property we were very much interested in. My husband called him up and and told him we would like to view some properties on that Saturday. We met John at his office in downtown Shelburne and off we went to look at 4 places. John made us feel like he has always known us!!! Not only did we get to view the properties, we also got a lesson on the area and some history!! Within four hours, we had made our decision on a beautiful place on Sandy Point Road. John made the experience very easy with no pressure involved. As you can image, purchasing a property out of province, we certainly were nervous on trusting a real estate agent we never knew.
