Montessori Academy Learning Centre

In reflection to the recent now deleted review, this person came in and consistently praised our school and how beautiful our centre is as she was getting a tour. As the owner did her best to accommodate her even without the immunization, it was very difficult at this particular school due to the parents, teachers and children all having been told it is a must. It is not fair for the others nor is it acceptable. This reviewer clearly is spouting nonsense as she was bad mouthing the other schools in Guelph as well. We also were going to accomodate her part time and speech therapy for her son.What I find is that this reviewer is the one who is unprofessional, likes to start trouble and is oblivious to how community works.We at this daycare believe 100 percent in helping each other out. The owner has been sending her teachers to an accredited MACTE school in Toronto to get their Montessori degrees in the different ages. She is also looking into being accredited with the CCMA.We do not discriminate, we are very friendly and love our children like they are our own. As the parents in our school truly know how much we care and provide for them not a person who clearly speaks ill of every other school and of the accredited school as well in Guelph. I suggest this parent to relax and think more positively about everyone. This does not reflect well on themselves, also as their reviews are mostly negative. I hope everything worked out for you and your child. We wish no problem on this person and wish them the best.

Wonderful experience from infant room to the CASA program. Our children have always had wonderful caring teachers who treat them like their own.

We have sent both of our children to MALC, and have had a wonderful experience overall. The staff is incredibly caring, friendly and, most importantly, connected with the children. The program is well-rounded and consistent, and feedback to parents is excellent. I have and would continue to highly recommend MALC!

It is quite sad to see how frequently children are exposed to screen time at this daycare, despite it being guided by Montessori principles. The core Montessori principles emphasize the importance of hands-on, experiential learning and independent exploration for children. The Montessori approach generally discourages screen time, especially for very young children, as it can limit their opportunities for hands-on exploration and interfere with their ability to focus and engage in the real world.

Our son seems to be doing well at MALC.We enjoy dealing with the staff and the daily updates they provide.So far, thankfully, they seem to have had less sickness than other kids in the neighbourhood. I think smaller class size helps. Fingers crossed that keeps up!!!

Our daughter was in the infant room at MALC and we had such a positive experience. We are very appreciative towards the teachers and staff for taking such good care of her. They are all very caring towards the children. The program is structured to promote learning, and as a parent you receive updates throughout the day. I definitely recommend this daycare.

We can't recommend Montessori Academy Learning Centre (MALC) highly enough! All of the teachers are caring, highly skilled and completely focused on creating a positive, engaging, fun and safe learning environment for the children in their care. The team encourages and fosters each child's personality, learning style, and growth for the best possible experience for both child and parent. They are highly communicative, fun to work with, and treat the children with the respect they deserve as little people. Our daughter started at MALC in the infant room at 12 months and only recently left the CASA class at age 2.5 as we moved out of town. If we hadn't moved she would definitely still be at MALC. As a direct result of her time at MALC our daughter is confident, fully potty-trained, and was totally comfortable transitioning to her new Montessori school in a new city as the curriculum was consistent. Sending our daughter to MALC was one of the best decisions we've ever made!

We sent our daughter in full day program and had very good experience. All teachers are very caring. The facility is very clean and secure. I will be sending my son to this day care. I highly recommend this Montessori Academy.

The staff are very caring and provide wonderful learning experiences for the children. Our daughter has had a fantastic 3 years at MALC, progressing through the infant, toddler and CASA programs. We are very impressed with the academic knowledge that she has attained coming out of the CASA program, and are confident she has a head start on the world heading into JK this year. We see the Montessori principles in her approaches and behaviour, and she has made many wonderful friends to share these experiences with along the way. We did not hesitate this year to also enroll our next child at MALC, and we will now look forward to his experiences and Montessori development at the Centre.
