There is an excellent selection of good food and treats, prices that are on par with the bigger chains, and wonderful staff. The dog loves to visit after a trip to the vet to get her reward for being so patient.

Very knowledgeable staff. We're going to be getting a cat and had lots of questions about food and feeding frequency, different types of litter, water dish options, etc... She was really helpful and even provided food samples our cat will be able to try when we get it.

Amazing little pet shop! Independent with more service and better prices then the big shops. If you have a needy or special diet dog or pet you must visit. They have all the options you need and prices are better then other stores.

Critters staff are very helpful and accommodating. I sent dog toys to my parents, who live in a subdivision just outside a small town, yet the order was delivered right to their door. Most companies will only deliver to their PO Box, so we were very impressed!

Bought a cat harness here and explicitly asked if I could return it if it didn't work for our cat. Person working told me that I could RETURN it if the package was unopened and the product was unused. I agreed. Confirmed again at checkout that the product was returnable.When I go back to try to return it, they tell me that the product is exchange or in store credit only. The product has not been opened or used. This is horrendous business practise to outright lie to customers.On top of all of this, I asked if someone from management could either look into this issue or get back to me since the return window was closing. I was promised a call back and heard nothing back from them.-1/10. Spend your money at other locations.

Front staff are not friendly whatsoever. Had my dogs nails clipped here. While they say they can do grooming, I can guarantee they’ll tell you their “too busy” meaning the staff just isn’t there. They called my dog fat. Also thought she was a boy.. I would hope after seeing so many animals you’d know how to tell the difference between a male and female dog. After the nail trimming they said they may have cut “too far” so she may bleed. This is your job. A dog can bleed out this way, so not very professional to tell someone you may have severely harmed their pet. Just go anywhere but here.

I stopped in for dog food at the end of the day. The Ludlow location was out of stock on the flavour we always get, but Bailey was awesome! He hooked me up with the online store where they had inventory of our fave, I ordered and it was delivered within 20 minutes.Shop local!!!! Love these guys.
