We are always greeted with care and friendliness. Our vet always gives us sufficient and knowledgeable answers to our questions. They are also very on top of sending reminders, so you'll never forget your appointment or you can easily reschedule.

I had a horrible experience tonight. My elderly cat, Jack, has urinary crystal issues. Buying the prescription diet is not just a matter of convenience - he will have a serious relapse in a very short time should he be fed another diet.I wanted to ensure that I had enough food for him to last if we were quarantined, so I tried to get a bag of food this evening - ONE bag. These bags of food are almost $40 per 2kg bag and I have been purchasing 2 bags a month for about four years at this clinic without issue.This evening I was verbally abused by the vet at the Don Valley Animal Hospital. He stood screaming at the top of his lungs that I was to get out of his clinic, just because I had chosen to keep my cat seeing a vet who was familiar with his condition and had not switched over to his clinic.There have been plenty of times that I had considered switching my cats over to this vet's office, if only for convenience purposes, but the time was never right. However, after the way I was treated tonight - in a time of unprecedented crisis - strictly because I wanted to ensure that my senior cat with health issues wouldn't have a relapse, I am so very thankful that I decided to keep my cats at the vet that they have been seeing for a decade.Nothing like a crisis to bring out the true character of some people.

Since moving to a different part of Toronto it was a bit of a drive to get my dogs to their regular Vet. After a lot of research I found Don Valley Animal Hospital. They explained my bulldogs issue in great detail to help me understand what was wrong with my dog and didn't push expensive treatments on us until we tried other methods first. The staff is wonderful to not only us but my dog as well! I would recommend this team to anyone that is looking for a vet for their fur babies.

The doctors and staff are very caring, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and organized. I highly recommend this practice for reliable pet care.

It is always a pleasant experience with DVAH. The vet and all the staff are so helpful and friendly. Our puppy sustained a fracture and DVAH helped us in everyway they could. One of the staff, Patricia, even followed up with the insurance agency which was one less thing for us to worry about. They even reached out to us on the day of the surgery wishing my puppy the best. Overall it has been a great, smooth and hassle free experience.

I have been coming to the DVAH for 25 years and have always been very happy with the service. Andre and Ferenc are wonderful vets, personable and extremely knowledgeable and have given excellent care to my cats over the years. All of the staff here are friendly, helpful and obviously love animals. I would definitely recommend.

We have been going here for a few years with our cats and couldn't be happier. They are caring and thoughtful, it is clear that everyone working there truly cares about every animal that comes through their doors. I've seen them go above and beyond to provide care, from home deliveries to accepting special payment arrangements. They are also always helpful and will help direct you to the proper care in case of emergency, even outside of business hours. From the vets to the techs and the reception staff, the health of our pets is their priority, regardless if they are having a hard day or dealing with other difficult situations. They are friendly and welcoming and have always served us and our difficult kitties well! They are always upfront about pricing and options and we've never felt pressure to agree to any unnecessary testing - they always explained clearly any recommended procedures and whether it should be done right away, can wait or is optional.

I will start with the positive, when I made my allotment they were professional, kind, and considerate. Arriving at the appointment they were great with my dog, the vet and staff were knowledgeable and courteous and were able to effectively diagnose and treat.However, i was given medication for my dog’s worms, and the syringe did not fit into the container properly. The only way to fill the syringe was to effectively tilt the container so the medicine would poor into the syringe, rather then being able to pull the medicine out. About one third if the medicine spilled on the floor. I informed the clinic via email and rather then tell me to come get a new syringe and top up the medicine they opted to completely ignore my email. Two days later I requested patient information so I could get replacement medication at another vet’s and they still did not have the insight to offer to top it up and give a proper syringe or container. The medicine was only $60, it was not the end of the world but this left a bitter taste in my mouth. It would had otherwise been fine if they had a high standard of customer service and took action on my concern. I would have otherwise had a very positive experience there. As a pet owner I only want to look after my dog and although many things went well at the clinic, the bottom line was I was not able to treat my dog as an end result.

I am very disappointed in the care at this emergency room. I came at 1 PM. It is now 11 PM and I’ve yet to see a doctor. Every time I ask see a doctor and nurse came and told me she was busy I had to wait I don’t recommend anyone with a kidney failure come here to get dialysis treatment, them and Palmdale hospital are the same terrible with service

I've been coming to this office for years, but recently, my 15 year old dog has required specialized treatment. Dr Ferenc has been SO patient and knowledgeable by listening to what her issues are and giving me several treatment choices. Mobility is one of her main problems so we tried an injectable option. Within 2 weeks she was running around like she was 11. She gets upset If i don't drive her to the country for a 3km walk. Thanks for making the quality of life for both me and my dog so much better!
