Mel was our wedding photographer and we absolutely loved the entire experience with her!!!We chose Mel for two reasons: firstly for her style in photography and secondly for her incredible gift of making people feel comfortable and relaxed, which really really shows in her pictures.It is amazing how she manages to capture all the emotions of the day/event in her work.Needless to say we were absolutely thrilled with the results. We were also impressed with how well organized and prepared Mel was. E.g. scouting out the location beforehand and the really well setup website for technical support and exchanging information. Communication was always easy, prompt and super lovely, yet professional.One more thing we really appreciate in Mel is how open minded and receptive she was towards all of our ideas and wishes... including taking pictures with some hugh draft horses, that can be a little intimidating to some.Honestly, if you want to make some lasting memories, work with Mel! You won’t regret it.

Firstly, I had about 2000 photos from my wedding and I printed 1 for the wall.With Meliza's beautiful photos of my family, I'm printing like 6 big ones for the walls of our home.Not only was she able to capture the very precious moments of our little lives but the vibes! The sunset! The color story! It is exactly what I had envisioned. If I could make a physical album out of every photo she took I would.I've never had a photo session with 2 young children and Meliza made everything so easy. Getting the smile out of my shy toddler who likes to hide behind me. In fact, we had so many genuine smiles and laughter and it's clearly shown in the photos. Vibrant energy but somehow calm and warm... My family had so much fun.If you are camera shy and don't know how to pose or what to do with yourself? I wouldn't worry because Meliza will guide you through and makes the experience so positive and amazing. I was so happy to see the photos at the end.Lots of easy/thorough communication beforehand also afterwards. She is down to earth, experienced, a good listener and honest. Highly recommend!

Meliza did a maternity and newborn photo session for our family. She provided us with a warm and genuine experience. We were delighted with the idea of having the sessions completed in our own home and neighbourhood. The preparation felt easy, as she sent us very detailed instructions on how not to stress about having everything perfect for the day. For example, we did not have to worry about having the space perfectly organized, as she was able to rearrange a lot of our space as we shot. We also did not have to worry too much about what to wear, as long as we felt comfortable.Meliza was really able to capture the beauty in our everyday life and used only the natural lighting from our windows. She was encouraging and kind and had all sorts of tricks to guide us and,especially our newborn for the session.We were absolutely in love with the outcome of the photos. She captured all the gorgeous and fun moments as a family, and the priceless facial expressions from our daughter! We are so happy with our experience, thank you Meliza!

I booked Meliza for my Maternity and Newborn photoshoot, and I can't thank her enough she is absolutely fantastic!!!! For both shoots she made me feel 100% comfortable and was able to capture my new little family in our natural element. The fact that Meliza comes to your house for the newborn shoot makes a world of a difference, as we all know travelling with a newborn can come with its challenges!Along with her undeniable photography talent, Meliza is also trained in makeup. I also had the opportunity to have my make up and hair done by her for my photoshoot, as a new mother this added services made a world of a difference and she left me feeling absolutley beautiful and confident for our shoot.

We loved our photo session with Meliza. From the beginning, she was very clear about all the session details and provided some tips and look guides. I felt very comfortable and encouraged to do the photos. I also love how she guided us to get the best poses and angles, as I never know how to pose and look natural. It was a mini session (15 minutes): it was fast and precise, but I didn't feel rushed.She is very friendly, energetic, and fast to deliver the photos, and the results/photos are excellent!

I recently had Meliza take headshots for my business profile. I usually hate having my picture taken, but Meliza's friendly and upbeat personality made forget about that, and I actually found myself having fun during the session with her. She brought out my best smile and took amazing photographs. Hands down, Meliza is the best photographer I've ever used.

We hired Meliza for an infant and family shoot. She was awsome the whole way through . We have a toddler who just turned 3 and is full of energy. Meliza is great with kids and really knows how to get them involved . My 3 yr old really enjoyed the experience and we were able to get some great pictures with the 2 kids plus the whole family as well. We will definitely hire Mel again. She was amazing.

Our whole experience with Meliza was absolutely fantastic! From the initial consultation, all the way to our beautiful photo gallery, we couldn’t be any more happier. (It really brought us to tears as we don’t have many photos together). Throughout the journey, Meliza’s attention to detail was evident in the preparation guide she provided to us prior to our photo session as well as being mindful of our kids experience by being aware of their passions and interests. Meliza is amazing with kids. In less than 10 minutes she was totally able to capture my sons personality. The pictures turned out absolutely phenomenal. We will always go back to Meliza for our photos now that we've discovered her!
