Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast

The view was just beautiful, even with the weather that was not so great. We were very well received and they answered all our questions even suggested things we could visit the next day along the road we took or small detours we could take to have a better view. Breakfast was just awesome with freshly baked eggs and muffins, their own fresh honey and fresh roasted and blended coffee. We also had a could talk with the owner about Canada and the region.

A relaxing place to stay. Great hospitality, and delicious food. Petra and Martin go above and beyond. I would definitely stay again if visiting Clarington. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very clean rooms and great coffee!

Stayed here for one night in the 'Canadiana' room while attending an event nearby and everything was exceptional! The hosts were very enjoyable people and were extremely accommodating of any request we had. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and accompanied by delightful conversation from the hosts. Looking forward to staying there again!!

Stayed here for one night in April, 2016. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The view from the Grandview room is spectacular! Would have loved to have lingered longer over my morning coffee and our conversation but I had to leave early for an event. Would definitely recommend this B & B.

This was our first B&B experience, we usually prefer to stay in hotel chains because we like to have our privacy and be in a clean space.Outstanding service from the owners! The breakfast was delicious, Petra is a great cook and would make something different for us every day. They are bee keepers and got to try their products during breakfast, great products.The room was clean and we had the first floor of the house to ourselves.They were flexible with the check-in time, which was great because our flight was delayed.This will be our first option when we return.

Nourishing for both the body and the soul. Beautiful location - a view of rolling green hills and cloud speckled skies to soothe both the mind and body. Gourmet breakfasts, wonderful insightful discussions with more of a sense of old friends meeting then first time visits. A wonderful location and fabulous host's. I highly recommend this B&B, and I will return again! Enjoy a stunning view of the valley whilst eating the spectacular home cooked breakfast using all local ingredients...yummy!

We had a great night here, super cozy and inviting. Very kind people with an adorable dog. We enjoyed talking to Martin and Petra’s breakfast was delicious! The view is beautiful, we’re looking forward to coming back in the summer! Would highly recommend!

This place was one of the coziest and cutest places I've stayed. The host was super friendly and welcoming.We were in town for a wedding, and Martin told us that if need be we could call him for a ride if we were drinking, obviously he said that's a worst case scenario, but having that was a step above in customer service.Incredible view from both the bedroom and the dining area, a lovely hot breakfast served with coffee and OJ in the morning alongside a super tasty loaf of sourdough.I can't say enough good things about Petra and Martin. Knowledgeable of the area and things to do, super friendly and inviting with a plethora of good stories to keep you entertained.Don't miss out on getting the chance to stay here, it's secluded, and seems like a private oasis. Would highly recommend.

Wow, where to begin? The roasted coffee! The local honey! The home baked goods! The view! It's a bit of everything. And of course, the hosts too... warm, kind, and funny, ... okay, but back to the coffee and baked goods...! SO GOOD! ...how do I give 6 stars on this blasted thing!?
