Beautiful venue for a variety of events, everything from weddings to business meetings. The space has both beautiful original features and modern elegance. You can choose between the larger ballroom or the more intimate lounge for smaller events, or use both. Catering menu is high quality and creative. Great place to hold an event!

The Chanterelle
This is an elegant mixed used event venue with more than 5,000 square feet of combined indoor space. It has exposed brick wall and natural light which gives it a classy look. It has a great menu and nice drinks. It has a lounge, a bar and a ballroom. The ballroom can provide everything from a memorable space for weddings to a comfortable unique space for corporate events. It’s definitely one of my favourite places in Thunderbay.

Great atmosphere for special occasions. I came to the masquerade ball with a few friends for some live music and loved the intimate setting. Also love the entrance foyer when you finish riding the elevator. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a place to hold an event.

Great spot for an event.The banquet servers were excellent!! I hope they are paid well they absolutely deserve it!We had a function here for the local law school and it was amazing.The food was good too!

The Chanterelle is a beautiful historical building. I love how the brick is exposed on the inside and the hardwood floor throughout. I really appreciated the modern elevator which I did not expect. The food was delicious and the food excellent along with the ambiance.

We loved our wedding at the Chanterelle! The venue looked simply stunning, and Maelyn the venue manager was incredible along with the Chanterelle team, from the bar to kitchen staff.The food was delicious from the appetizers to late night snacks. service was on time and smooth and attentive. Glasses were never empty and we even received a special basil cocktail. All attention to detail was given.We had so much fun and absolutely loved our wedding. Thank you again to the Chanterelle.

We recently had our wedding at The Chanterelle. We had postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic and Kathleen and the team at the Chanterelle were so wonderful and accommodating. They made the whole process of constant ups and downs as easy and seamless as could be. They swiftly and easily accommodated an offsite catered reception and the food was truly amazing. I have had so many guests tell me it was the best food they've ever had (not an exaggeration). Thomas and Toby were so fun behind the bar and definitely helped keep the party going! We cannot thank the team enough and I could not recommend The Chanterelle more!!Thank you Kathleen and everyone <3- Molly & Tim
