Little Learners Daycare Centre

I really love this place.my son like this place .. and all teachers is very nice.

Both of my girls went here, and they both loved it! The staff were great and friendly, meals were good. The kids were always happy to go and enjoyed their time here. Best it was close to my work and made for quick pick up and drop off. The pricing was average, but affordable.

Little sister went there for a short period of time. Sent home multiple times for getting lice from the other kids. And once she was taken out of the daycare, we found out that one of the main staff members have been hitting the children. Needs to be looked into by CAS.

We had to change daycares in the January and I was very nervous as my daughter was having a hard time starting daycare in the mornings due to Covid and just being home for more than anticipated.As soon as she started with Little Learners she has had the most AMAZING time and we can see so many positive changes in her. The teachers are just so wonderful and when I watch my daughter get excited to see them or go in without resistance It just makes my heart happy. This is a wonderful place and I feel like she is getting all her needs met.

not a professional daycare, management is not understanding, the place itself does not meet ministry requirements, food doesn't taste good and portions are very smallthe menu listed is not properly followed, many items that are listed have never been served to the childrenno janitor staff- chores are done by staff at the end of the day when their shift is supposed to be complete and even with doing so the place still appears dirty and is not suitable for children and proper cleaning supplies are not given- the mop looks like it is 100 years old, vaccum smokes when used and the brooms don't sweep up mess very well.playground is not very big, and classrooms are not big enough for the number of children in each roombathrooms are not sanitary and are not big enoughtoddler room has no sink to wash handsa staff member told me the place has roachessupervisor is absent most of the day everydaynot paid fair wages for the amount of work that is required and are also in charge of the outdoor upkeep when shift is completedpaid minimum wage on your pay check and a $2 enhancement and a GOG quarterly grant based on the # of hours you workwhen you read the job posting it says $18 an hour- no that is not what you get on every paycheck don't let that fool you.supervisor hires anyone when desperate for staff even when the candidate has no experience working with childrenstaff argue consistently with supervisor and don't seem to enjoy their job working there, not a very friendly environmentWhen supervisor over schedules, staff are sent home even when they are supposed to be getting full time hours or they spend their day doing chores for the daycare when you are supposed to be there organizing and supporting programs for children and the newest staff member is always stuck doing the dirty jobs or making lunch even if they don't have their food handlers certificate and if you are making lunch or cleaning you only get a 3 hour shift.garbage is taken out on the same cart used for snack and lunch...and staff have to push it to dumpsters themselves on a 3 minute walklice consistently occurs at the daycare and children seem to always be getting sent homeno hr downloads or safety training is given when you start workingstaff are not given weekly program time to type the following weeks program- they have to do it during their personal time or it doesn't get donethe county has to visit weekly to make sure the proper curriculm is being taught since they did not pass stand requirementswould not recommend this daycare to anyone for children to attend or for any staff to have to work there, I'm surprised that it's even still open.

Both my children went here. They loved it. Both girls developed close relationships with one of their staff. Even when, I pulled my eldest out because of COVID-19 and she was devastated that she wasn’t going to see her favourite worker anymore (let’s call her Veronica) . Fast forward 15 months and I decided to put both her and my youngest in a few times a week before she started school to get her used to the idea of being away from home most days. When my daughter saw Veronica for the first time in months it was the sweetest thing. I could tell they were both very happy to see each other. That. Right there. It’s good quality childcare.The management is friendly, professional, and understanding. Of course of the years we have had bump, bruises, and my girls have little spats with other children but the daycare has always been upfront and honest with what went down.Overall this daycare centre is great. There seems to be a diverse group of children and staff there and we are grateful for that.
