JK Bakery Cafe

We stopped in for a late lunch on our first day in Banff. The service was friendly and fast. The location is great and beautiful inside. We ordered the half sandwich and half soup, and a full sandwich with a blueberry lemonade. The soup was tomato and lentil (GF, Vegan, DF) and absolutely delicious! Very hearty and warm- and a really great portion for a half soup. The sandwiches are custom made with your own preferred toppings, and a really handy system to make sure you get exactly what you want. The blueberry lemonade was also delicious and refreshing. Prices were great- especially for a cafe downtown Banff! They had a selection of baked goods (breads, buns) that looked fresh and well made. We sat outside on picnic tables to enjoy the Rocky view. Highly recommend, and would definitely visit again if we're in the area.

Great place to stop for a quick soup and sandwich. Fresh bread and ingredients! It's really nice that you can make the sandwich how you like it. The soup was super tasty and warming on a cold day. $15 for a full soup and full salad which filled me up nicely. I will definitely stop here again!

Great spot to take a break from exploring Banff. Friendly staff are efficient. Baked goods and coffee were a treat.

I got a coupon to get a free cookie with a purchase of a large espresso drink or hot chocolate. I bought the mocha and got the red velvet cookie and gave them both to my companion. She liked them both. Friendly staff and clean. $5.50 for the large mocha.

Great local deli and coffee shop. If you're visiting Banff try to find the local shops, it will make your visit that much better. There is a Starbucks in town that is always busy. Go to JK and you'll find a cozy place with friendly staff. The menu is much more extensive and they are a total green restaurant. Nothing better then good food, great atmosphere and a place that cares about the world. This is a must while in Banff.

The staff were so nice and provided great, extra service. I asked where the nearest place to refill my water bottle was and they did it for me. I bought a lemon poppyseed shortbread (which was delicious) and they threw a second in the bag for my sister.

Came here for a quick lunch stop and was not disappointed!! The owner was friendly and helpful, sandwich was absolutely delicious as well as the drinks which were not over-sweetened like most places. Highly recommend!

We were just looking for a cafe for a quick breakfast coffee and a muffin. JK Cafe overdelivered! The coffee roasts are outstanding, the donuts to die for and our breakfast sandwich was the best in recent memory! Super soft bun, delicious omelets style center and perfectly cooked bacon. The staff were lovely! Thanks for the great breakfast experience, we'll be back!
