Took my electric bike with a rear flat to get fixed by John. Charged me $75 and the tire went flat again the very next ride. I took it to Sport Check this time and Matt fixed it and told me that the tube put in by the last repair was too big and twisted inside the tire and that the problem was the rim tape rubbing on the tube that caused a hole. New tube, two layers of new rim tape, a once over checking the rest of the bike out cost me $20 with tax at sport check. Would not recommend this place for any bike repair. Called John to relay what I knew and he just made excuses in my opinion and actually said he thought they didn’t have anyone to repair bikes at Sport Check. Is that why you felt you could charge me $75 for a $20 job?!!!

Fixed a flat for my son and did an outstanding job. One thing that made him stand out from the others is that he checked the inside of the tire for the sharp object that punctured the tube and still found it logged in the tread. He removed it and replaced it with a new tube. Great work John.

This man saved my life being the only available bike mechanic in the area when my derailleur cable snapped. (the only searchable through google)He's a really cool mechanic that might not be up to snuff with the latest tech but he has the smarts to go through it logically and fix it.He also has bees.A++
