Went for the first time here for TMJ needs and it was amazing. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of having Wendy who I would give 10 stars to, she made me feel super comfortable and was very helpful! It was a very inviting and fun environment. Dr. Anna was phenomenal. She is very knowledgeable and an overall awesome person to go to. Thank you for the great service and I look forward to coming here in the future!

The building was my grandparents' Beaver Lumber House" they built in the late 1940's after WW2. So happy that it still stands today

Dr Thompson is amazing! When our son was 3, he had a cavity due to incredibly deep groves in his molars. Dr Thompson was so kind and non-judgmental of us as parents. She fixed the cavity AND helped us prevent cavities in his other incredibly deep molars - and she kept it so easy and fun that my 3 year old talked about how much he loved the dentist for days! I highly recommend her!

I wish I could give 500 stars, Dr Thompson does fantastic work. I'm a nervous patient and she goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She cares about her patients and how they look and feel when they leave her office. Absolutely recommend.

The clinic was amazing with my 4 year old. Took the time to show him all the tools, walk him through all the steps and made it a great experience for his first formal dentist visit

I can’t say enough good things about this dental office! My son has a really hard time with dentists…so much so that his former dentist in Nelson wouldn’t see him again because he was uncooperative, and referred him instead to the child specialist in Kelowna. Not wanting to make the long drive every 6 months, I explained the situation to Mountain View Dental, and they were willing to give it a shot. He got to pick a TV show to watch (with the sound on) and his hygienist was calm and explained everything to him. He made it through x-rays, a cleaning and fluoride, and was happy leaving!

I was so grateful just to get into a dentist when I was out of town visiting my daughter. What surprised me is Dr. Thompson and her staff made me feel like a regular patient they would see again. Hope lots of local will make Castlegar Mountain View their “go to”, they were all just amazing and I am grateful to have my smile back!

Dr. Thompson is a fantastic dentist. She takes the time to make you feel at ease with whatever you're visiting her for, and explains everything to make you feel comfortable. If going to the dentist is a stressful experience for you, please stop what you are doing and book an appointment with her. Her knowledge, expertise and chair side manner will have you wondering why you ever went anywhere else.

Dr. Thompson and staff are absolutely amazing. All these years later, and I still get anxious in the dentist chair, yet everyone here is so kind, cheerful, and helpful, not to mention very quick so that you’re not lingering in discomfort.

I would highly recommend Dr. Thompson as your dentist. She is amazing with patients of all ages. Her kind and welcoming approach has always made our family dental visits enjoyable. She has such a skill and talent with working with kiddos or anyone nervous about seeing a dentist . The patience she shows her patients while delivering top notch care is just awesome. She is knowledgeable, smart in her care planning and makes seeing the dentist as enjoyable as possible.
