Brampton Minor Basketball

HiThis house league is wastage of time, energy and money. There is no regard for the parents and players. It all about administration and coaches (who are volunteers ) . People living in one end of city are assigned randomly to teams to other end of city . Imagine if you have two or three kids and all are assigned to other end of city on different days for practice and driving for 2-3 days for practice plus game day. Coaches are volunteers parents - I do appreciate them for giving their own time and they get 50percent off on league fee. But if you want your kid to develop skills and learn real ball game, I will highly recommend against joining this league. If you just want to feel good and tell yourself that you are doing good for kids , you can close eyes and join this but the kids will not learn anything. Administrative staff is not friendly and flexible at all . Most of the times rules and regulations are dictated to parents as if this league is doing some kind of social services for your kids. I would highly recommend against this league

I don’t leave reviews often but it would be a disservice not to in this case.I signed up my daughter for mini ball and she has coach Troy teaching her the fundamentals of the game. I also have 2 sons that play high level rep hockey and have played sports all my life. Coach Troy is a huge asset to this organization. Not only does he teach the game & skills like no other but he has the perfect balance of life skills in the mix. Thank you coach Troy. Your effect on these kids will last a lifetime and I’m haply that my daughter gets to be a part of it.

As a form two time champion in bmba and now as a coach. BMBA really takes care of its people. Also grows the young men and women to be successful later on in life-Samuel ArcherBack to Back finals 2010-2012

My son was registered well in advance and he was not even given a jersey until the end of the season. I was told they have been ordered , really ???? Fees were paid in full and On top of that the so called director Samantha had an atrocious behaviour on asking about the jersey. Horrible experience not worth it ! Sad training too!

I signed up more than three weeks ago and I've got no response from the coach, the organization or from anybody at this point I don't know what to do, this is a very bad organization and I've heard that practice for my team has already started and I don't know when or where the practice's are going to take place, I give this organization a one star.

1 year I joined this league it was the most rigged thing I have ever joined. The coaches put all the good players on one team. There was 1 team with all the good players and the rest of the teams had only had 1 good player. So I recommend not joining this league.

The coaches are good and my kid has improved a lot on the basketball skills. However, their administration/organization is the worse we have ever seen. Session got cancelled without notification, wrong information provided; we were told to go to their office during their office hours, we went there but no one was even there. Made several complaints, but no solutions. We signed up just really because their coaches are ok.

Terrible experience. I enrolled my 7 year old and my 9 year old. It was a complete waste of money and time. For the 9 year old, the coach did not show up for half of the practices. There were no games only drills. Majority of the time one of the parents would have to step up and coach as a last resort. Very unorganized.For the 7 year old, the coach did show up but always late. Not sure who to blame but I would discourage anyone from signing up . Zero star review but I have to click on one in order to post.

I have signed my son up for the basketball league almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything from the organization. I received a receipt for the charges and have tried several times via Messenger , emails and phone and no one is responding. Please advise on the next steps.
