Booked my first ever hair appointment and I have never felt better about my hair. It’s so curly and bouncy! I can’t even begin to explain the amazing difference between the before and after. Carla is so friendly and explained every step she was doing. If you have curly hair visiting the Curly Hair Maven is a must! Thank you so much for this experience, I will definitely be back.

I had my first appointment with Carla this week. She performed a haircut and pintura highlights on my hair. Carla was friendly, knowledgeable and adaptive during my service. I had previously had a coloured conditioner on my hair and when lighter was added my hair turned pink! Carla adapted the service to ensure I left with a beautiful cut and colour even with this hiccup. I would recommend the curly maven to anyone looking for a high quality stylist who is knowledgeable and cares about curly hair. She also styled my hair so well I didn't have to come home and redo it which is not an experience I've had at any other salon! I have found my new stylist!

I was a little afraid to try a new curly stylist after having had the same one for so long (she moved out of province) and having had so many sub par devacuts previous to that, but my cut today with Carla was great! I was given a right proper curl by curl cut and ended up with a lovely bouncy shape with all my density still there. Win! I rebooked with her right away for 3 months time in order to continue to maintain my curls. I should also mention that her rates are amazingly affordable. Thank you Carla!
