We were greeted by our server Florence, and since we do not speak French, she doesn't show any signs of impatience. As a matter of fact, she patiently explained any questions we have. On top of it, she even recommended a few drinks to us, which makes the experience even better.As for food, the flavor is really great, and I order a beef tartar to start. As for entree, I order a halibut. The dish is very well seasoned. the only minor downside is that the halibut is a little blend. But overall, the whole dining experience is very good.

Great quality food. Incredible service and lovely environment.Had the French Onion Soup with Foei Gras, first time trying it in my life. The Foei Gras was unique, it tasted not as I expected. It had a buttery texture and taste, just being a bit harder and grainer than normal butter, and had a bitter-liverlike after taste. The French Onion Soup was good but not too outstanding.Then ordered the Rabit leg white wine risoto for the main course. Easily one of the best food i ever had in my life. The rabbit leg was simple and not too dry, the risoto rice was perfectly creamy. Friend ordered the steak and frites and it was the best steak i everhad. The fries had depth of flavour, with it being fried mostlikely in animal fat rather than the usual american way in oil. The steak simply made me speechless. The first bite made me explode in my mind.

The food was exceptional. The service amazing. My Mom had a seafood stew, and I the homemade boudin as our main meals and everything was perfect. Our entrée's were French oinion soup, and steak tartare. Everything was fresh, and so tasty. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant when in Quebec. This is a 9/10. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Summary: not dog friendly, inconsiderate of hot sun.Original review:We made reservations to come with a dog to the terrace. Once we came they told us they can't sit us in the main terrace because of the dog, and put together a table outside, in the sun, no umbrella. Then we waited almost an hour for our meal, frying in the hot sun. Waitress was nice and punctual. The food was pretty good (except the ceviche), although a bit on the expensive side.Edit: since I can't reply to owner. When we made reservations we told them we have a dog. The owner also told me the sun would go down and we'll be in the shade. Yeah, we got shade, like 1.5 hours after we sat down. The breakfast place right next door didn't have a problem sitting us in the main area. Your bad review is well deserved.

We LOVED it here. Our server was AMAZING, despite a language gap. She was attentive and very kind. Her name was Andrea, I believe. The food was so so good. Every member of my party of 5 adored their meal. Very expensive but extremely worth it compared with other places I’ve been in Quebec City.

I love love love this Bistro we found in Old Quebec. I have come here every time I come to QC with my husband, which is probably 4-5 times last year alone and twice this year. Their food is superb. The French onion soup so flavourful. Though the last time, it seemed slightly different than the others, but still amazing. I love their mussels which my husband always orders and I enjoy their seafood ragout most visits, but also recommend their cassoulet! All in all, I'm a loyal customer who will always come here unless I can't get a reservation!

By far our favorite meal during our week in Old Quebec. From our waitress, Jennifer, being an absolute pleasure, to the owner and chef greeting us with drinks after dinner, everything was perfect. Highly recommend the French onion soup, the cod with gnocchi, and the rabbit dish. Also, the tarte tatin for dessert wil blow you away! We can't wait for our next trip to come back for more!

It was so wonderful time for Christmas eve. We got the last table next window. The restaurant is cozy and little packed.But the service and food was amazing. Small mussels was the best for an appetizer and a decent amount for 2.I got a fish and gnocchi, wonderful main course for wintertime. My wife got the bean and duck was also the best winter dish.Ps. You should try their Saint Malo cocktail.
